Chris Christie Administration Is Target Of New Federal Criminal Probe

Federal law enforcement officials have launched a criminal investigation of New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and members of his administration, pursuing allegations the governor and his staff broke the law when they quashed grand jury indictments against Christie supporters, International Business Times has learned.

~OGD~

Does Christie do ANYTHING for the people of New Jersey that is not an abuse of power? Sounds like this investigation would have taken just hours at most if its focus was on all instances of Christie nonabuse of power.

He is really squeezing all the juice out, eh?

I hope someone does do the background checks for all deputies hired doing this period. It could be just sloppy administration but it’s as well to be sure.

Chris Christie could very well be the head of his own organized crime family - funny, the Morning Joe crew never mentioned that

I smell burning Christie flesh. It smells like victory.

Should Christie end up in an orange jumpsuit, I expect he’ll be doing commercials for Sunkist.

DRIP, DRIP, DRIP … keep the little revelations coming and soon they will add up to a whole body of water to submerge Christie’s presidential aspirations in.

Insiders rarely turn on the boss.

Except for the insiders that Christie has turned on. He’s a ham-handed bully, and has obviously seriously pissed off anyone foolish enough to cross him. That will provide a wealth of witnesses eager for some payback.

I suspect that some of his allies have already done some “singing” during their “interviews”. Once the investigations are complete, it will be interesting to see what comes out. I’m not overly optimistic, but definitely looking forward to some potential good things to come out of this.

I wonder how much juice they can squeeze out of an orange-clad Christie while en residence dans la grande maison. It’s the new black, baby! Pure luxury!

Yes, yes, this is yet another voice that is speaking out - but the voices are not being sufficiently heard - nonetheless, the hope is that eventually they will be - that some how the right collection of individuals who have not been bought by Christie will put together & tell the whole sorry saga of this phenomenally corrupt dirt bag Don Vito Corleone wanna-be . His extortion, his affairs, his abusive bullying, his misappropriation of Federal and state resources, his de-facto bribery (through the awarding of large government contracts)… and on and on …

Thats funny, I smell bacon.

Christie's office denied any wrongdoing. “This truly is some of the most wild-eyed conspiracy theories I’ve heard in a long time,” a spokesman told the Times. "Why, the governor was out on the bridge moving cones when all that went down!"
