Why didn’t I think of this? I’d like nothing better than take money from these idiots.

Why should televangelists get all the money?

Good point.

Indeed. Perhaps a jacket with really long sleeves that tie in the back and a rubber room would be a more effective means of keeping them safe.

Are the kits for sale at the Fearmonger’s Shop in Lake Wobegone?

Wow! I can see how these kits could really protect the people from Ebola, as long as they don’t come near anybody who has it, which they won’t. Since they’re all gun freaks though, I suspect some of them won’t make it through the Ebola panic in any case, Pandemic Survival Kit or no, unless they come up with a kit for surviving the Gun Death Pandemic, in which you would have to send them your money AND your gun.

Good business is where you find it.

I just wish they could do something about the shortage of .22 LR cartridges. This is ridiculous.

Silver bullets, no self-respecting firearms company is not going to carry those.

These companies selling survival kits…are just making money off of scaring people. The day the food is gone is the day obese America goes on a diet. The older we get the less food we need. The Bible says not to stock up on food somewhere…I forget which book, but it means to trust in God to provide, so if you’re an Atheist get ready to starve or hang out with Christians who are sharing.

Atheists tend not to trust in God like Christians do.

That made no sense whatsoever, but hey, whatever floats your boat.

If you want to have a bigger penis …

I’m sure somebody has brought this up already.

Brownell’s is not a firearms manufacturer. It is a retailer of firearms accessories and OEM parts. You’re thinking of Browning, that is a manufacturer of high quality firearms.

The masks should help a lot seeing how Ebola is not airborne.

What it really needs is a lot of guns and ammo to stop all those infected Mexicans, and ISIL terrorists from coming across our southern border. Dumb people would buy a lot of that.

Brownells is not a firearms manufacturer, it is a retail outlet that sells all kinds of gun and outdoor accesories. Sloppy reporting at best.
How is selling Ebola freak out kits any loonier than some of the rediculous stuff in the Williams - Sonoma catalog?

I agree that in general a kit of basic supplies is something everyone should have just in case of a bad snowstorm or thunderstorm snarling things up, never mind a natural disaster. Water, food, some way to cook, flashlight, radio, first aid kit. But this is marketing based on a threat that basically doesn’t exist. They’re really not offering any real value for the money they’re asking. I wouldn’t be proud to do this.

Keep in mind that cardiovascular disease, parasitic diseases, cancer, influenza, respiratory disease, accidents, firearms, alcohol poisoning and so forth kill hundreds of thousands, if not millions a year. Your chances of catching ebola are less than getting hit by a meteorite or blown up by a volcano. In other words, your chances of catching ebola are statistically zero.

What people should be doing is knocking off smoking and excessive drinking, keeping the gun locked up at the gun club, exercising five times a week, laying off the trans-fats, having more green, leafy vegetables and less sugar and salt, being more careful when driving and staying in the shallow end of the pool. The media hysteria over ebola is absurd, preposterous.

Of course a firearms company is now selling “Pandemic Kits”.
Why? “You can’t cure stupid, but you sure can make a lot of money off of it.”
Strike while the DERP is HOT!
