Rolling Stone reported that Trump had said , “Look at that face!” adding,
“Would anyone vote for that? Can you imagine that, the face of our next president?!”
Most men, Carley, also know exactly what Trump meant. And it wasn’t your persona. Trump is a misogynist. Thinking about women, esp strong women makes him queasy. Knowing that… Mr Trump would be in big time serious trouble if he ever back sassed Mrs darr I can tell you. She like many many women is strong and independent and that is something I deeply admire. But Trump??? He sees woman as chattel, a trophy. a bauble to inflate his ego driven persona. And I for one do not want him to have the ability to use nuclear weapons.
I hope Trump’s abusive comment about Fiorina is not forgotten. I also think it’s an insult to every woman in the country. Even still I am not a Fiorina supporter. I just think she deserves to be treated in a civil manner by Trump.

I think she handled the moment well. But c’mon, CNN - stick to the relevant stuff.
Carly Fiorina, I’m as anti-misogynist as the next guy or gal, or even more, but the fact that you’re running for the nomination of the most anti-women organization in the country kinda lowers my sympathy for your plight to the point where I feel free to say: go fuck yourself.

You often get a strange, torn feeling when he attacks some awful person with some sort of horrible, scurrilous insult that even the awful person doesn’t deserve to be subjected to. You have to parcel out your detestation percentage-wise, like a lawyer crafting a complicated liability settlement.

There weren’t a whole lot of flocking feminists when she ran for Senate in CA. Of course, she was running against a woman, but still, only R women flocked her way and I’m pretty sure none of them were feminists.

It’s not an insult to me. She’s ugly because she’s an asshole. She’s ugly on the outside because she’s hideous on the inside. And she insulted a woman’s looks. She had no problem cackling at Barbra Boxer’s hair like some nasty little tween. So, no, it’s really not the same when a woman plays at that base level and gets played at the level.

Geez. I like how Fiorina pretends to be butt-hurt over just a hint that Big Door finds her ugly. Big shock.
Suppose he’d said something like, “that woman is so hatchet-faced that if you soaked her in starch and grabbed her by the ankles you could chop down a sequoia.” What would you do then?
Let me tell you what minorities (women, people of color, religious minorities, etc) hate more than just about anything else. It’s someone who shares their minority status, takes advantage of that shared minority status, and then says and does everything in direct opposition of uplifting or advancing their shared minority status. For instance, Ted Cruz has the highest unfavorable ratings of any Republican candidate except Trump. Ben Carson is already being eviscerated within the black community. I have no reason in this world to believe Carly Fiorina would fare any better with women. Sure, she’ll probably win white women (unless she’s running against Clinton) but she won’t win women overall and will probably lose handily because of her anti-women positions. Honestly, they could play on endless loop her answers on Planned Parenthood, reproductive rights, equal pay, paid sick/maternity leave, and her comments about Boxer’s hair and she’d even lose white women. We all know a Carly Fiorina, we’ve met her far more often and we know her far better, than any man ever will.

I didn’t know Fiorina had abused another woman. And I appreciate your telling me. My impetus is to treat people with civility if at all possible. I was incensed that Trump said what he did and the way he said it. Fiorina has demonstrated a real lack of business acumen and an abrasive nature with those she has worked with. I would not vote for her.
