Discussion: Fiorina: If Hillary Faces A Woman She Can't Talk 'Whole Set' Of Issues

But Fiorina, the GoP, conservatives, neo-conservatives, and tea party people do not like you! They could careless what your gender is. You can even come out as a lesbian and they still would not want you representing them! Get over it!

Yes, and if the GOP nominates a Human, Hillary won’t be able to run on species.

For a political party whose mascot is the elephant, Republicans have short memories.

In 2008, John McCain sought a running mate to get the votes of women who were unhappy that Democrats nominated Barack Obama over Hillary Clinton. Thus, little-known Alaska governor Sarah Palin was thrown into the national spotlight.

So, how did THAT work out?

I read an item couple of years ago in which she was listed as one of the worst CEO’s in the past 15 years or so.
She is/was dangerously incompetent.

I suspect she’s out for VP pick for the GOP-nominated presidential candidate – say, she and Missy Lindsey or she and Rubio.

Hey Carly thanks for exposing your lack of critical thinking. If you oppose a womans right to choose, are eager to shut down Planned Parenthood, anti-contraceptive, against equal pay, against raising the minimum wage and want to repeal the ACA like Carly is you are waging a war on women. Gender doesn’t matter. But using Carly’s logic she can’t run her business record considering how she ran HP into the ground

The only one making gender an issue is Carly

After what she did to HP she cannot run on competence.

Are you actually suggesting the possibility that Fiorina isn’t really a serious candidate to WIN the GOP nomination but is running pursuant to some understanding with one or more undisclosed persons and organizations in return for sums of cash and/or future considerations, with the clear agenda of attacking Hillary from the supposed position of a ‘Serious Female Opposing Candidate’?

I’m quite sure there are people who would take apparent umbrage in response to this sort of accusation being made against a registered member of major national political party.

“She won’t be able to talk about being the first woman president … to talk about the war on women without being challenged … to play the gender card … so what she will have to run on is her track record, her accomplishments, her candor and trustworthiness, and policies.”

Let’s see now:
Has quite a long and varied track record in elected and other government office, versus zero.
Has accomplishments, versus none.
Headed up for a full administrative term one of the largest most important federal government agencies, versus repeatedly ran a computer hardware company aground in ways that suggest she never understood the industry or the company’s place in it, or both
Supports progressive Dem policies that serve the greatest good for the largest number of citizens, versus supports policies and principles the sainted Reagan, even Genghis Khan, would find extreme and regressive, all as dictated by the wealthiest established white male dominated power bases.

Candor: she’s a REPUBLICAN,

If that woman happens to be Fiorina, Clinton won’t need to run on gender. She’ll run on Fiorina’s utter incompetence as an executive.

“She’s the most aggressive Republican candidate when it comes to someone attacking Hillary Clinton,” Iowa Republican party former political director Craig Robinson recently told The Guardian. “She’s not bashful about going right after her. That’s made people sit up and notice —the fact that Hillary Clinton is being critiqued by another woman.”

As opposed to being the Republican candidate with the best vision and plan for this country’s future. Got it.

Exactly what I was thinking, Ms. Lindsey beats Carly hands down…

And by the way to the story writer, Carly is the FORMER CEO of HP

Wow-I’d like the name of her cosmetic surgeon-so I could AVOID them!

She should hire an internal pollster and see how well she polls against HRC in CA,FLA,OH ,PA,VA and NY.

“…she won’t be able to talk about the war on women without being challenged,”

So if the GOP puts up a woman candidate that party will push for equal pay, go pro-choice, in other words they’ll adopt Dem policies? The only way to ‘challenge’ the War on Women charge is to end the war.

So, when she’s selected as the GOP running mate to Bush or Walker, with her long list of failures, what will she have to say about identity politics then?

Running against a Republican woman would make Hillary a better candidate. My biggest fear is that Hillary will figure she’s a shoe-in as "the first woman president " and phone it in like Martha Coakley, or run on Democratic platitudes like Kathleen Kennedy Townsend; both of whom lost elections that favored the Democrat.

“If Hillary faces a woman, she can’t talk ‘whole set’ of issues”

That statement may just be the Democrat’s best hope.

The fact that it is uttered at all tells one a lot about the state of cluelessness (“derp” for my friend Darrtown) on the other side.

Have you ever seen a less self-aware person in your life?

And so what she will have to run on is her track record, her accomplishments, her candor and trustworthiness, and policies."

Fiorina actually believes that any of these would be a bigger problem for Hillary than for herself.

Well if she runs against you, she can run against stupid! Stupid women, need no apply.

This crazy bitch (yes I said bitch), ruined Lucent Tech. I worked for Lucent prior to this crazy bitch taking over. We were blue chip, stock portfolio in the $80+ range. Voted a top US employer.

She came in with her corporate raider agenda, within two years, ruined the company. Everyone lost their jobs, and their pensions. Yet, she walked away with a multi million dollar nonperformance bonus.

She can suck it if she thinks anyone (man or woman) will elect her for anything.
