I’d really rather aim a bit lower.
I will be. Fiorina has peaked and is rapidly heading toward rock bottom. She might make it till Iowa and NH, but only because she is starving her campaign, just so she can get that far. She is gone soon after.

And while you are there, the Iowa picture for Carson is pretty interesting, too.
Once Trump starts on, what I believe will be his continued and main attack, for a few weeks, namely that hitting you mother with a hammer is not something to brag about, I expect that red line to continue downward.

Still trolling for a FoxNews gig, I imagine. I don’t think she’s worked much since HP disgorged her. Probably burned through the $35 million or so she got for destroying a once truly great American technology company.

I was responding to Chammy’s theory that none of them will be in the picture in a couple of months. The only reason I think Fiorina will be around is because she’s always been vying for VP, which was her reason for getting into the race in the first place. She hopes to be able to hang onto enough of a following that she’ll be viewed as sort of a semi-conscious person’s Sarah Palin who can hit HRC on women’s issues without the campaign having to worry about charges of sexism.
Carson has enough money to stay on the stage for a few more months too. Depending how well he performs tonight and whether or not he’s been bloodied by the recent questions about his background, Carson may come out of this even stronger. He’s also got a small, outside shot of being chosen as VP (and for very similar reasons as Fiorina) depending on who is the eventual nominee.

I doubt Carson would accept a VP nomination. And I see very little upside for anyone selecting him. He is completely unproven as a political factor, and if its at that point, it means he lost the nomination. He has no geographic base and there is little to no reason for any candidate to saddle themselves with the religious right this time around. They will turn out and vote anyway, and trying to build a campaign in 2016 around bible thumping is doomed to fail.
Leave it to a TPM reporter to completely fail to mention Fiorina’s failure to confront the person who referred to the President as a Muslim just a few days ago. Yes, TPM ran a story about it but this story demands a revisit to what Fiorina failed to do for simple perspective. An utter failure by Sara Jerde of basic journalism.
