Get your facts straight, and quit omitting important details. Meserhle was in fact convicted of involuntary manslaughter for the killing of Oscar Grant. The civil lawsuit was not won because the father of Grant, who filed the lawsuit had no real relationship with his son.

Thank you! The two cases have important differences and should not be lumped together in such a cavalier way. The fact that the officer was found guilty and sentenced is a statistical outlier in police shooting cases. From this article, one would think the Fruitvale shooting was another case of a police shooting where the officer was exonerated, the exact opposite of the facts.
