Discussion: Ferguson Police Investigating Whether Michael Brown's Stepdad Incited A Riot

Discussion for article #230732

“Ferguson, Mo. police Chief Tom Jackson said Tuesday that his department is investigating whether the stepfather of Michael Brown intended to incite a riot…”

We can all take comfort knowing that should he be subject to a grand jury presentment, the prosecutor will make certain they hear all the evidence.

Yeah, right.

You can bet that McCulloch will indict him with or without a Grand Jury.

they killed his family, and now they want to go after him for being upset about it…how much injustice must a man face before he’s allowed to be upset about it? #freedom

Of course they are, because black people.

Nothing could possibly be better designed to calm the unrest in Ferguson than lynching Brown’s stepdad, right?

Teatroll Rosetta Stone says: “That’ll teach 'em. We’re gonna make an example out of this dirty fucking n-bomb and scare them all back into their hovels. Sometimes you gotta just remind the uppity sons of bitches who their betters are.”

And before I forget:

Guess which way the mostly white grand jury will vote on THIS one.

Guess…

Edit: In fact, I’ll be surprised if they even bother with one.

Police Chief Jackson should have worn his sheets when he announced this latest way of rubbing salt in the wounds of the Brown family.

Anger aside, it is a federal offense to incite a riot, which it appears he did on face. Whether or not he intended the crowd to set Ferguson on fire, I don’t know.

You’re only allowed to be upset or show upset if you’re not black or brown.

Fuck this. You know who intended to incite a riot? I’ll tell you who:

McCULLOCH, that’s who intended to incite a fucking riot.

Don’t think I’m kidding either. You can start with the decisions he made to kid-glove his entire cross-examination of Wilson in a manner that bordered on malpractice and then make the entire community wait like his bitches for him to hold his press conference after 9:00 p.m. to announce the verdict, which has been widely criticized as exacerbating the unrest and creating a situation more likely to lead to rioting.

What better way to make one’s self famous as a DA than to have your name up in lights and forever associated with a long-running story of massive civil unrest that got major MSM attention for months?

Go ahead, you stupid motherfuckers. If you think tensions and possible violence are hot now, wait until you start persecuting the family of a murdered kid. Never have I seen such clueless dickheads in charge…oh wait, I’m sorry - I forgot about the incoming Congress.

i agree with you, on face-value what he said is worth investigating…but by a federal officer, and showing much more grace and tact for a man who just lost a son to what an impartial observer would describe as unjustified murder…or really, anybody who isn’t associated with Ferguson PD or its ilk.

At least the Rams apologized for their behavior (or not)

great way to start building those bridges to the community.

Yes. But there’s this thing about timing that has all the earmarks of retribution.
And might you know someone who was once flogged rather spitefully for incitement?
A MrBananaHammock?

We both know that occasion doesn’t rise to this level of insensitivity.
Tough to put anger aside when there’s plenty in residual.

GOP/Teatrolls regarding this: “What’s there to investigate? He said it. They did it. Case closed.”

GOP/Teatrolls regarding Wilson: “Now now, innocent until proven guilty and all that. Investigations are part of the process and we need to thoroughly examine this. Besides, giant black kid thug robbery gang signs pot smoker rap music drugs disobedient hoody enraged animal disrespectful punk. We can’t just assume that something was terribly wrong with an innocent, well-mannered white cop shooting an unarmed black child with his hands up. Those fuckers are innately terrifying.”

One wonders if Jackson will also be investigating his own police department to see whether they intended to incite a riot. What were the exact words of one officer? Oh, yes: “Bring it, you f*cking animals!”

So after TRASHING and manipulating evidence in a major homicide the Ferguson PD is going to “investigate” something?

How puke inducing.

Oh I’m SURE it was a signal to the Traditional Knights of the KKK disguised in the crowd.

I know you’re right. No kidding about it. The way McCulloch orchestrated everything – right up to the timing of his condescending, scolding “announcement” – has not escaped notice. The world was watching that night, and McCulloch and Ferguson/St. Louis/Missouri officials gave the world a negative impression.
