“…Zoll initially denied making the comment…”

It isn’t about Michael Brown. It’s about the integrity of Ferguson police.

They lie to each other.

“…That blood on the hands starts on the steps of City Hall…”

Yes. It does.

Insensitive remarks cause more tension leading to potentially more protests, equals potentially more rioting, and the chance someone gets hurt. Including one of his fellow police officers. The guy must be an idiot for not knowing that. I would think that fact would be the foremost thing on his mind these days.

With the election of a black President the racists have now been let off their leashes.

Is it too much to ask Ferguson police to put their brains in gear before they open their mouths?

“‘The City of Ferguson wants to emphasize that negative remarks about the Michael Brown memorial do not reflect the feelings of the Ferguson Police Department,’ the statement read.”

Yeah, well, I don’t believe that for a minute. But at least the mouthpiece for Ferguson Police is suspended without pay and facing disciplinary proceedings. Sometimes you have to fake it till you make it.

Your statement is so true. I work at Social Security’s 800 number where you’d be shocked to hear how many callers love to use the “N” word about Obama. They let that word flow like the dam is broke!

“The City of Ferguson wants to emphasize that negative remarks about the Michael Brown memorial do not reflect the feelings of the Ferguson Police Department.”

And America wants to emphasize that the reason the Ferguson Police Department has these issues is because they’re in denial.

This statement clearly does reflect the genuine feelings of the department, and denying that it does means that nothing will change. Far better to state that while these sentiments do exist among some officers, plans are underway to identify those holding those sentiments to remove them from the force.

When an authoritarian fascist is vested with the authority to use deadly force, they really don’t care if they incite violence or not. It in fact plays into their hands.

Though IMO it’s not just the election of BHO-- but a perpetual ginning up of racist fears election-to-election as the RWNJ deomographic both dies-off-- and previous minority demos-- inch toward majoritites in states whre those voting blocs threaten to make ®s a regional rump party.

ÂŽs will only go out kicking-and-screaming-- and scorching everything on their path to irrelevance.

DON’T BITE THE HAND THAT FEEDS YOU.

I don’t think some people understand exactly WHO their ‘BOSS’ is… Like our elected officials their egos get in the way.

Is it conceivable a man that called the memorial of a dead man a pile of trash might have harbored the same sentiments for the man before he died? Just asking. Is it possible this remark lets us see a bit more into what is really going on? How the Cop’s really feel and what they are, when amongst themselves, comfortable saying.

Trash was the word the man used.

And the guy suspended was the department spokesman–the guy the chief thinks should be the face of the department… Damn, who is in charge of the police in Ferguson, Bull Conner?

Hidden camera video of what goes on in Police Department break rooms could be most enlightening.

The dam what is broke?

Calling the memorial “a pile of trash” is a bad strategy. There are no repercussions for shooting someone dead. Well, not on this plane of existence, anyway.

oh, now you care about the issue.
Call out a cop for a few words but protect the cop who unloaded into an another human being in front of everybody.
I got it.
