Discussion: Female Candidates Boost Dems Hopes In Tough Year

Discussion for article #222622

“… just as the husband is to lovingly lead and sacrifice …”

Unless alimony is involved, then to hell with her.

“President Barack Obama’s unpopularity is a drag on his fellow Democrats, and no one is talking seriously about breaking the GOP lock on the House in midterm elections, when the president’s party traditionally loses seats.” Maybe it isn’t TPM’s job to instill enthusiasm into the party, but to include this drag on every conversation isn’t going to create much energy in a party or voters in general. The continual pronunciation of an idea in the long haul creates a reality that may or may not be valid.

I hate to see candidates feel they have to jump to the GOP side of arguments like the Keystone pipeline just to win votes. If she has a legitimate argument then that is different and I can’t tell that from the article, but since I can’t vote for her I only hope her constituents can process the good with the bad on that point.

It is, at least, encouraging to see information about up and coming Democrats men or women, instead of always articles about the worst of the worst and absurd from the GOPTP.

This wasn’t written by the staff at TPM. It’s an AP article. You can tell by the Republican slant (and the attribution in the byline and the copyright at the end.)

I didn’t see that part, I guess I wasn’t attention.

You go ladies! Victory to all of you!

(which means, all of you Democrats get off of your snarky asses and vote!)
