The best people. Uh huh.
Just maybe someone should consider vetting these people. Nah, that involves a functioning administration.
Daniel Craig? He is pretty good in those true-to-life James Bond films. This must be why Tramp nominated him. Reality stars stick together.
Did he ever caddy for Trump? Seems like vetting enough to me?
Cheer up, Mr. Craig! “Falsifying Records” one of the requirements to get a job at the Heritage Foundation…
What?? A Drumpfie nominee cheated and lied?? What a shocking surprise!
(Ow! I bumped my head when I fell off my chair laughing…)
I imagine the screening process goes something like this:
Q: Have you ever committed a crime, lied, or attempted to reap personal gain from your position in the government?
A: No Sir, I have not.
Q: No? That’ll be all.
A: Well, there was the time that I…
Q: You’re hired!
This guy’s out. Now the FEC guy is going to be out, too. The WaPo occasionally updates the long story they created about all of the self-extinguishing nominees they put up. I trust that will continue. Not like the Times effort to list all of Donald’s lies, which like so many worthwhile things in the newspaper business , is a casualty of the increased price of newsprint.
Learn from their mistakes? They don’t even acknowledge that there have been mistakes.
With all of the info spilling out of the WH, one can only conclude that having engaged in multiple incidents of corruption is a job requirement to work in this administration.
All the best people.
FTW.
Probably got the nod because Trump thought this was Daniel Craig the British superspy 007, and the fact that he likely defrauded the government was just a bonus.
It’s a good thing there’s not much happening at FEMA these days…
Probably a good idea before we find out about his ties to Russia.
I think he’d be terrible in the government, though. He’s got no sense of accountability. He even let that vagrant metal-salvager escape when they had her in custody. AND he dropped his weapon!
“Given the distraction this will cause the Agency in a time when they cannot afford to lose focus, I have withdrawn from my nomination,” Daniel Craig told NBC News in an email.“I will also be spending more time with my attorney,” he added.
Another one bites the dust.
I guess crooks and conmen who don’t get caught are better?
Love it. Keep it coming.
