Discussion: Feinstein: Kavanaugh Thinks Trump Is An 'Oligarch' Who Can't Be Investigated

We knew that Kavanaugh was coming from a far-right alternate universe. But the problem is that this is not an uncommon view among the right wing, even rank and file deplorables. The elite among them aspire to be worth $200 billion, just like Putin. The deplorables think they have a shot at it. (Let’s see. If I win the lotto 8000 times in a row, I’ll be worth $200 billion – that’s got to be 1.4 trillion to one odds. It could happen! Hey, ya never know!)

And the top boss is always an infallible god. Until he isn’t. That’s what Pence is relying on.

Feinstein and her colleagues need to spend every waking hour convincing “moderate” and/or anti Trump republicans to jump ship. If what she says is true there is no greater mission. Add to that the nomination was outsourced by the illegitimate president to right wing organizations. Then compound the issue by the corruption displayed by the administration and finally the derailing of President Obama’s nominee. Watching the hearings one could arguably make the position Kavanaugh flat out lied about talking to his good friend working for the law firm referenced by Senator Harris and later others. Kavanaugh May have ruled 95% with the majority on issues before the court; however, the 5% that went the other way were very significant and very dangerous for our democracy.

Now that’s what I call a great incentive for attracting law-abiding political candidates.

Feinstein needs to bitch-slap Kochar, Collins, Murkowski, et alia, into female compliance.

Maybe he can slap the retirees,Corker and Flake, while she’s at it. Kyl has nothing to lose too. Saving the country is not a gendered responsibility. (Although I am totally in tune with giving RBG’s suggestion of an all female SCOTUS a trial, :sunglasses:)
