I was at a wine tasting Saturday night and I spoke to a group of woman discussing the Kavanaugh crap. One said something that seemed so right to me. She said itâs âtough to come forward with an allegation like Fordâs. Youâre gonna get clobbered from all sides. So you have to have genuine motivesâ. Then she said âit would be inconceivable to just make it up. If itâs not true why take the clobbering. Do you hate the guy that much that youâd ruin your life just to give his career path a bumpy road for a bitâ. That made sense to me. It would take guts to come forward with a genuine claim. Youiâd have to have strong motives like keeping the wrong man off the highest Court in the land. But what could motivate you to make it up? Does Ford have a history of pent up hatred for Kav? If so no ones saying so. The only thing that makes sense is: he did it.
As for âwhy nowâ. Well I found out why now. because she was a 15 year old prep school girl at the time and 15 year old girls donât tell their parents or anyone for that matter that they got drunk and a guy worked them over. No matter what.
Even better would be for parents to teach their sons and daughters about consent.

There are other videos that go into the consent question, like proving you had consent. They get a little harsher and tinges of morality. This was the first one I saw after the Brock Turner case. I think that if we could get most people on board with this then we can move on to the next tougher questions in a sexual relationship.
