Sweet. Ron Johnson is one of the stupidest people in the Senate, perhaps the entire Capitol Building on a daily basis, and Feingold rocks.
This would be doubly sweet for Dems. Not just flip a Republican seat, but also Feingold! A true progressive as I recall.

Yes! Russ Feingold rocks! I love Russ Feingold --my favorite Senator ever. I never get tired of reminding people that he was the one and only US Senator to vote against the Patriot Act. I only wish he were the Democratic nominee for the Presidency. Go Russ!
Sniff it, I keep trying to like your post but TPM won’t let me. 
Can’t speak for TPM, but I can speak to “marketing.” The more pics of and stories of and/or about controversial figures, the more clicks. Looking at it through that lens–and knowing how important it is for all of us to have a successful TPM and other good political media sources–I don’t have a huge issue with it. That said, it would be nice to have more good/positive pics of our Presidential nominee and other Progressive stars … a little more balance, I agree with.
The same argument could be said of the Sunday talk shows. You know, the ones that are 80+% GOP. People seem to have a problem with that, for some reason.
If Wisconsin can’t or won’t elect Russ Feingold, then the State should be sub divided, to form two states… One of these two would be populated entirely by morons so they can keep Johnson and another moron to be their Senators. No one in Washington is likely to notice any appreciable difference in this eventuality.

The photo which went with the article on the Ivari raccoon transplant lawsuit was a gem.
My all-time favorite is the one with him standing behind a podium, one hand pointing in the air, the other appearing to be grabbing at his zipper or crotch, a look on his face that just screams, “Aw, fuck! My pee pee is caught in my zipper … again!” Angry, orange face, teeth gritting, biting lower lip. It’s a classic.
