Not that it was necessarily the key factor—the guy left a print and DNA on at least one of his packages—but raise your hand if you know people who got in bad trouble from running their mouths on social media. A girlfriend years ago was filling a position in her department and one of her employees found that one applicant was a member of a fairly odd sexual subculture. It’s not wrong or bad but they wouldn’t have been able to look at him without thinking about it and he wasn’t an especially strong candidate anyway and the hobby didn’t help. People don’t think about this as much as they should. I was talking about a different situation once with a friend and she put it in a nutshell—“It’s called,” she said, “the World Wide Web.” 
The guy’s writing looks eerily like trump’s. Similar kind of brain malfunction perhaps?
Another “stable genius” at work here. Or would that be “hidden genius”? Just imagine how horrible things would be if we didn’t have so many “geniuses” running the country.

You may be right. Clint Van Zandt on MSNBC just said one of Sayoc’s relatives says Sayoc is a steroid user/abuser.
He also said that he always thought he was more of a democrat. Sadly, I think the steroids worked their “magic.”
Years ago my husband tried to tell a law student who was very active on Facebook to watch what he posted because employers look these days.
I don’t get why people don’t get that they are publishing their words when they post on social media.
I think he’s deeply confused like most Trump supporters are. It’s -pretty obvious when someone who is living in their van idolizes someone he thinks is extremely wealthy like that person was really going to do something for him. It defies all reason.
If only Twitter were so consistent in their application of TOS and suspend Trumps’ account.
