I’m curious why she would have dealt with the physical document rather than using a mini-camera or burner phone to photograph the documents and upload them. It seems if that would be less risky.

I’m not an expert on top secret clearance facilities, but I imagine recording/copying tools are highly regulated/restricted in such environments.

In that case, I might think of taking them out, photographing them away from the building, then returning the documents themselves. Sent by phone, anonymously, the press outlet could not have identified her, assuming she took other sensible precautions to avoid being associated particularly with those documents.

Winner is allegedly the source of a leaked NSA report published Monday afternoon by The Intercept documenting Russian military intelligence attempts to hack a U.S. voter registration software company and more than 100 local election officials.
That’s the only important part of this story. The Trump administration is going to execute, maybe legally, this woman in an attempt to make a point and distract us from the fact they colluded with Russia to undermine the election, not just DNC emails and fake news. It may take them awhile to try and sentence her, but I suspect it will be timed to just before the 2018 election.

First, I feel sorry for the young lady for trusting Glen Greenwald. That fucker has spent so much time trying to dismiss #trumprussia, and now he wants to use hard evidence of unprecedented Russian voting machine hacking attempts. He could’ve told her to go seek a lawyer as Greenwald would’ve been marked b/c of his association with Snowden. Instead, he published this without protecting his source. He’s a selfish, manipulative prick and a thoroughly detestable human being.
Second, Ms. Reality has done the nation a favor. We now know that Russia did attempt hacks of our voting machines. What makes anyone think they didn’t succeed? We need an independent commission to investigate this.
Third, if it turns out that Russia did attempt hacks in battleground states, the result is forfeit in my view. I believe HRC should petition the SCOTUS to throw out the election result based on fraud/treason, and demand that SCOTUS order the Electoral College to reconvene and elect Hillary.
