I wonder it must feel to know that this douche is in charge counting the votes in an election in which you are running against him.
How many thousands of votes will Abrams have to win by in order to be unambiguously the winner?
Can we run that judge out to Kansas and North Dakota real quick?
We Georgians who support Abrams are wondering the same thing.
Please, Georgia, elect Stacey Abrams as your next governor. I was once seated next to Kemp for an evening at an event in Savannah. It was only about three hours, but enough to reveal the utter shallowness and smugness of his ideology. Georgia needs and deserves better.
We Georgians know how painful Kemp finds it that his job involves helping eligible voters vote.
He has worked so long to make it harder for so many here.
If I were a Georgian, Iād be cheering and without reservation. Your state also got far better news than KS or ND voters did. Iād also send a few bucks to any (or all) of the plaintiffs who brought the suit forward.
The order from U.S. District Judge Eleanor Ross was a victory for the voting rights groups challenging the stateās āexact matchā law, which has frozen the registrations of more than 50,000 Georgians. This phase of the litigation focused specifically on the 3,100 registrants listed as pending in the exact match system due the citizenship issue.
Though I know the answer to this, every other day, I keep wondering to myself, āWho do I really want to win more, Kelly or Abrams?ā
These are our champions:
Surely there are thousands of white Georgians, conservatives, who are embarrassed by Kemp and his shenanigans. Surely. Yes? Please!
Kemp is determined to undermine the democratic process at all costs in his effort to win the election.
If he had an iota of ethics, he would have stepped down as Secretary of State as soon as he declared his candidacy in order to avoid any conflict of interest.
Imagine what the country would look like today if Trump could fire federal judgesā¦
If and when the democrats get back into power they need to figure out a way to make bad faith suppression of legitimate voters a jailable federal crime. Thereāll be a lot fewer grassfuckers running for SoS then.
For Kobach and Kemp, GITMO would be too lenient.
I hope they have someone at every precinct to let people know that they have recourse to challenge wrongful denial of their right to vote.
That sounds like torture.
Heading to Savannah for Thanksgiving. Bro lives there (SCAD 1983) and now my sister.
A little over 3,000 thousands, due to the Democrat caravans from Central America and Iran.
A person who canāt stomach firing people in person needs to be far better at hiring than Trumpp is.
Iāve said it before and Iāll say it again.
Brian Kemp would make a great Governor.
Of Alabama
In 1954.
Iām less worried about his voting suppression than his control over the voting machines. I assume the Abrams campaign has some way of dealing with some of that, or I donāt think she would have made the race.
Weāll see what happens
The problem is that Georgia has 159 counties and 159 supervisors of elections that work directly for Kemp. We still have those old Diebold voting machines that are so easily manipulated and all those āSupervisorsā have a cushy job with great benefits and not much to do all year so who thinks they are going to rock the boat and let a highly educated black woman be elected governor?
