See what happens when someone thinks themselves not above the law, but as the law.

Arpaio becomes seriously ill in the next few months and claims it would be cruel and unusual punishment for him to be sentenced to prison. The illness is never defined.

I was just thinking exactly the same thing. By the time he’s ever required to appear at trial, he’ll be wheeled in on a gurney with tubes coming out of him and an oxygen tank. Something right out of The Aging Mobster’s Handbook.

Some people are saying Denny Hastert is looking for a new cellmate…

This has been going on long enough… why isn’t this bulbous nosed freak behind bars wearing pink undies like he makes his inmates wear?

I hope because this is now proceeding in criminal circles it will finally get moving. He is a hateful person.

In May, the judge found Arpaio, Sheridan and two other sheriff’s employees in civil contempt of court for violating three orders within the nearly 9-year-old profiling case.

That’s what pisses me off the most about this case against Arpaio…9 fucking years to deal with this POS! Justice delayed is justice denied. How many other immigrants and frankly anyone with a Hispanic background has this fucking sheriff and his henchmen tried to set up and go after? Glad this has turned from civil to criminal but it seems that should have happened a long fucking time ago. By the time this case reaches its ultimate conclusion…Arpaio will have already gotten away with years of being in charge of one of the most corrupt Sheriff’s departments in the country, and will probably be dead from old age.

No doubt he is a criminal, but why are you judging him by the shape of his nose?

how long did it take for him to order his detectives to background this judge?

In his latest ruling, Snow also wants another judge to determine whether Sheridan, sheriff’s Capt. Steve Bailey and former Arpaio attorney Michele Iafrate should be held in criminal contempt over their failure to disclose the discovery of nearly 1,500 IDs that were in the possession of one officer.

I’m sure there’s a simple, innocent explanation for how the officer came to be in possession of nearly 1,500 IDs. I can’t wait to hear it.

Perp-walk the fucker.

Yes. He’s like the militiamen, but working from the inside. Way past time for him to suffer the consequences.

My first thought was Judge Snow was being entirely too fair to Arpayaso and his goons. I now realize he’s actually making it harder for Joe to appeal any of the rulings. Smart move.

With any luck, Joe and Co. will finally be Pretty in Pink.

GOOD!

Let’s see this clown get perp walked in his pink undies to tent city in 115 degree heat!

Exactly!

The last judge that went against him, he and the former county attorney thomas (who subsequently got disbarred over it) threw the judge in jail! joe should have been sent to the federal pen over that, but somehow the charges were dropped…

This fool thinks he is above the law.

Yeah, that officer “killed” himself.

Arpaio is 84yo. This fucker is going to die before having to serve any time. This is unfair and a grave injustice to all those he and his bad people unfairly targeted and made their lives hell.

The last refuge of those who have broken the law with impunity for decades: they’re so old at the time of trial that it would supposedly be cruel to take away their few remaining years. No, what’s cruel is that they got to destroy so many other people’s lives and spend the prime of theirs in comfort.

Just like Joe Bonnano.
