The PA GOP Legislature can’t impeach Federal Judges.

Watch out, this gives them “crying rights” and it will be non stop blubbering from here on out. Poor little snowflakes.

Maybe Putin can help 'em out.

Let me get this straight: They were told they had to fix it. They didn’t. Then, a State Court fixed it for them, and now they’re not happy?

Thanks, Obama.

No, No… it’s the “R” that follows their name that gives them crying rights…

Republicans: Forever aggrieved and put upon despite their over-representation virtually everywhere due to their electoral shenanigans.

My law degree was issued by Jack McCoy and only covers the law in NYC, so I’m wondering what their recourse is beyond this if any? Is this over? Can they appeal?

Just another example of Republican greed and hubris. They couldn’t just gerrymander, they had to put the football on the one yard line, forcing the courts to nullify their absurd map. If they had been halfway reasonable about it, the courts would have probably let it stand.

GOPers have got to face reality. They truly need to broaden their scope in governing to stay alive. Otherwise, majority voters will view them as a thing of a distant past, that they prefer not to revisit in their future.

As I understand it all the judges on the panel were Republicans, too.

The first thing you have to understand is that, in the criminal justice system, the people are represented by two separate but equally important groups: the police, who investigate crime, and the district attorneys who prosecute the offenders.

The judges said Monday they have no authority to act in the matter except to throw out the case.

I assume this means their ruling didn’t reach the merits? Was it “thrown out” with prejudice, or was this just a procedural snafu, meaning that the GOP needs to re-file, either in a different venue or with some other superficial change?

Where my TPM lawyers at? the khybers and the ncsteves, etc.

This map does not favor Democrats,it favors fairness.
My only problem is being stuck with Scott Perry but it does level the votes somewhat.
Because I am a registered Repub, for the first time,a Perry rep came to my door.
Even though some of my family has been here since 1716,after the encounter,I may get deported.

Please stop using the frame of “more favorable to Democrats.” If you want to be truthful, call it what it is, “less gerrymandered to guarantee Republican wins.”
