Discussion: FEC Chair: Didn't Think I'd Need To Clarify, But Taking Foreign Dirt Is 100% Illegal

It’s apples to bananas.

Fusion GPS is an American research company that was hired to do opposition research. The company hired former British spy Christopher Steele. Besides the fact that the Clinton camp probably knew nothing about Steele or about what he uncovered, Steele was so disturbed by what he found that he himself went to the FBI with those findings.

Thanks to the Pelosi Doctrine (Impeachment is Always Off the Table. In fact, there isn’t even a table, so why are you asking me this?), it really doesn’t matter. Dick Cheney, through KKKarl Rove and the Shrub, realized his lifelong dream of instituting an Imperial Presidency, Obama embraced it, and Pelosi and Schumer have consistently looked the other way. All pretenses of even the appearance of Representative Democracy in this country are officially dead.

And yet, DJT and his cadre of enablers still refer to it as Dem-backed oppo research (and the media in general never add the Republican-funded disclaimer).

To sweet lil Miss Lindsey it was just a lil mistake. To the rest of us it is ILLEGAL. Of course for tRump laws are just someone’s words on a piece of paper and he doesn’t read anyway.

“This is not a novel concept. Electoral intervention from foreign governments has been considered unacceptable since the beginning of our nation.”
