As usual, Moore is displaying his liberal hatred of the truth. The “one proud White American” had a partner who deserves at least half the credit for the terrific body count.

Everybody who watches Fox News, by choice, on a regular basis is being programmed with wounds. I’m not being glib here. Your description of wound collectors/collecting is a pretty spot on description of the Tea Party and of Trumpp voters. It is no accident that the GOP is full of angry white people. More specifically, full of angry white people who are angry at what Fox tells them to be angry at. Those white people are not angry at the wealthy persons and corporations that fight hard to keep wages low and to reduce protections against unsafe workplaces, biased treatment of employees, and environmental pollution.

This whole lack of motive reminds me of the first well known mass shooter Charles Whitman back in 1966. Nobody could figure it out, but the autopsy discovered he had a brain tumor even though they were unsure of how much of a factor that was at the time. But it’s unlikely they can figure that out for Paddock given that he shot himself in the head.

But…but…but Steve Scalise says that the 2nd Amendment is unlimited… won’t somebody please alert Dana Loesch and Wayne LaPierre so they can issue not-so-subtle NRA death threats against Wynn?
It’s a worthwhile and necessary exercise to comb through the evidence Paddock left behind, but we shouldn’t have high expectations of finding information we can use. These mass shooters are such outliers that anything found will likely be just off the wall.
What we can and should do is to take vigorous measures to reduce the number of these massively effective killing machines that are out there so that the next guy who, say, gets an urgent message spelled out by his breakfast Cheerios, has a really hard time assembling an arsenal like Paddock had.
