Discussion: FBI On End Of Oregon Standoff: 'No One Was Injured, And No Shots Were Fired'

Discussion for article #245903

Much work is left to assess the crime scene and damage to the refuge and tribal artifacts.

Damages will be huge. These idiots will pay through the nose for this.

Welp. I disappear for a couple of hours to pretend like I’m working and it’s all over but the book deals. So it goes. Back to Trump!

They’ll just sue for the pain and suffering and bullying … like the cop who killed unarmed black guy is suing his family for pain and anguish…

Well done, folks. I’ll admit it, I was impatient with you for a while, but it’s much better this way. Too bad one of them was determined to commit suicide by cop, but there’s not much to be done about that.

I hope they take video on the way in, show what a mess things are inside and the damage they did. That’s a CNN kind of thing they should do…

Not only are these four in custody, Cloven Bundy and that Blaine person are as well. Kudos FBI. Now arrest the rest of them who left the refuge earlier. (They’ll be easy to find. Just stake out the Depends aisle at the nearest Walmart.)

Wait a sec…where was the bloodbath? I was PROMISED a bloodbath. Can we tack that onto the charges?

Of course not! None of the terrorists had brown or black skin!

You’re kidding. These bozos are judgement proof because they don’t have a pot to piss in.

Can we have a list of the participants and how many of them pretended to be ex-military?

Sorry. No refunds allowed. Kinda like going to a hockey game/NASCAR race and no fights, bloodshed, or extraordinary crashes. They don’t get their money back.

Those judgments, even if not paid, remain with a person until death. Not even a bankruptcy filing can discharge restitution.

I’m amazed. For all their talk about corruption and dishonesty, these guys were LYING when they promised a bloodbath?

Their reaction is ‘who cares?’ and insist on being paid in cash.

I’m sure they all look forward to being awarded the Derple Heart Award for their efforts.

Hey! Let’s class-action sue 'em for breach of promise!

Wasn’t the cost of the occupation to the US Government estimated at around 60,000 dollars a day? That’s around 2 million dollars in itself.

EDIT: 2.4 million, math was never my strong suit.

Seize the cattle on Bundy’s ranch and let President Obama hold a huge Fourth of July BBQ at the White House. That would really set them off.

Bundy is now in custody with his sons. The family that’s jailed together is never bailed together.

Seize the whole damn ranch and turn it into a public park.
