Nunes is rotten to the core. And I trust Rogers more than Comey
Nothing toSEe. ExCePt for SmoKe. LotS anD loTs of sMoke. No FirE. JuSt an AnimaL not a dUcK whicH is walkiNg anD quaCking.
Totally stole this and canât take credit, but damnâŚitâs funny:
Canât wait for the announcement that 45 has appointed his 10 year old son Barron as Special Adviser to the Pentagon for Strategic Warfare Policies, because he is a whiz at playing Call of Duty on his Xbox.
You must have listened to NPR this evening. Thatâs exactly what they saidâwithout the snark.
The Râs hold all the cards and it is clear that they donât believe in playing fair. There must be a way to get a vigorous investigation by some entity that wants to get to the truth. If not we are in deep trouble.
Donât be too quick to laugh. It could happen.
âCan we just talk to Schiff and some of the other committee members when Nunes isnât around? I mean, heâs crazy. Fuck that guy.â
When will Trump go public with âI did not get peed on by Russian pee hookersâ. Or Sessions, âI did not get recruited byRussian spy.â
Enders Game?
Schiff calls for Nunes to recuse himself.
They donât trust Nunes not to go running to Maison Blanche with what he learns.
Translation: Comey and Rogers are now afraid anything they say, regardless of whether itâs supposed to be kept within the Committee, etc., goes immediately through Nunes to Trump.
But will he? Given both Comey and Rogers cancelled, I am thinking he has no choice.
Wouldnât surprise me. But I think Melania would put a stop to that. âNo! Donât make me go near that man!!!â
I stopped listening when they got rid of the random capitalization.
Ayup.
Got real problems when the FBI and NSA directors donât trust the House Intelligence Committee enough to testify in front of them. Nunes either has to resign or we will have to get a special prosecutor. Can we go back to losing now?
NPR? You mean these fearless, dedicated truth-seekers?
Donald Trump and his representatives frequently make public statements that simply are not true. Are they lying? For now, at least, NPR says no, not necessarilyâwhen Trump makes false statements to the public, the networkâs news team will not refer to them as âlies.â
By definition, a lie is âa false statement made with intent to deceive,â Morning Edition host Mary Louise Kelly told listeners today. âIntent being the key word there. Without the ability to peer into Donald Trumpâs head, I canât tell you what his intent was. I can tell you what he said and how that squares, or doesnât, with facts.â
Michael Oreskes, NPRâs senior vice president for news, concurred with Kellyâs distinction: âOur job as journalists is to report, to find facts, and establish their authenticity and share them with everybody. Itâs really important that people understand that these arenât our opinions. ⌠These are things weâve established through our journalism, through our reporting ⌠and I think the minute you start branding things with a word like âlie,â you push people away from you.â

In other words:
Flynn conspired to kidnap a legal resident here and send him to Turkey. Serious criminal charge. Smart money thinks heâs talking to the FBI so they can go after the bigger fish.
