Itās not at all clear that the tapes at issue are from 2013. The article says the Spanish police were tapping Torshinās phone before it tried to arrest him in 2013. It doesnāt say it stopped doing so and it doesnāt say when any conversations of particular interest to the SC took place.

Torshin is talking about his conversations about potential(?) meetings with Beavis and Cockholsterās campaign cronies (I think he told El Padrino [Romanov], āEstos bastardos codiciosos deberĆan simplemente colgar un cartel de āEn ventaā. Podemos comprarlos para una canciĆ³n.ā) as well as about his dealings with the NRA to funnel money.
Best to read Isikoffās linked Yahoo article. Then ask yourself: These intercepts were known to, thus available to, the American IC as they happened. The FBI could have been requested at any time. Why did they wait until three months ago to request them? Why not as soon as they became aware it involved US elections?

Trump Jr. has admitted to meeting Torshin at the NRA convention. He said they just exchanged pleasantries. Presumably, if the tapes really are a threat to him, they show that statement to be false. They may also give some insight into financial links between the Trump campaign and the Russian oligarchy.

Let me get this straight. The FBI spied on the Trump campaign again???. Torshin is a patriotic American Russian (who by the way was barely connected to the campaign, nobody had even met him except that one time he brought donuts and covfefe to Trump Tower).

Ha! Nothing like getting stuff to work when thereās some doubt. Mineās at least 20 years old, battered and neglected over the years, that I bought used from a neighbor for $25. Fired up like a champ, never been better. So thereās a whole season where I donāt need a new one for my postage-stamp yard. Sweeeeet.

Whatās winter? Whatās a lawn? I have some scraggly tufts of grass in a small patch of dirt totally shaded by sweetgums and laced with their roots. I take care of the tufts with a cordless weed whacker, which shrugs off the brutal San Diego winter like it is nothing.
Unless we have a great November election, Iām not optimistic about any lying-to-Congress charges against a Trumpp. The money laundering, though, seems likely to pay off in a big way. MS13 is nasty, violent, and the bogeyman of the day, but it is nothing compared to the Russian mobsters that have been making use of Trumppās services.

I was in the Virgin Islands at Christmastime once. Blazing sun, T-shirts and flip-flops, all that, so it was weird to see cardboard Santas and tinsel ropes on the apartment balconies. Winter in San Diego must be something like that.
