How timely! And the New Black Panthers too!
I’ll reserve judgement until I know ALL the details. Could be true, but there are so many reasons, based on past history, to ask LOTS of questions.

Wilson shot Brown because Wilson’s a murderous racist, and now the cabal of Ferguson white power people are planting evidence on protesters to cover their butts.
Wilson was perfectly justified in shooting Brown because Brown was part of a violent, dangerous element in our society.
anyone is an idiot to believe a thing the FBI says. The FBI has been mounting false flag attacks and creating terrorists out of innocent lonely individuals in Amerika for years now to justify their existence. The FBI didn’t indict Cliven Bundy for sedition after Bundy’s Boyz aimed loaded assault weapons at them, for example. The FBI have become a rogue goon squad of Nazi liars, same as Obama. I don’t believe a word the FBI reports anymore for these and many other reasons.

The only “explosives” they could have been purchasing at a gun store would be black powder, smokeless powder or that tannerite shit gun nuts use to make things go boom when they shoot them. I’ll be expecting Wayne LaPierre to swoop in and defend these Americans’ sacred right to bear arms and ammo and “fun” explosives anytime now, as he has done many times before, any minute now.

There must be something about these Americans that makes them different from all the other Americans whose sacred and inalienable right to keep and bear arms must be protected at all costs and at all times from the jack booted thugs of the federal government. I wonder what it could be? Surely it can’t be their political views. Not when Wayne has fearlessly stood up for the right of Fourth Reich separatists, Branch Davidians, the militia guys and the sovereign citizens to keep military style arms.

As stated, this narrative of shooting down undesirable elements belongs in totalitarian dictatorships. In America one is not supposed to be gunned down because of suspected membership in a suspect class of criminal elements. There are trials to determine participation in actions.
The American form of the alternative narrative runs that the officer was justified in shooting Brown because the officer justifiably believed that Brown was in the process of launching an attack which could be stopped by no other means.

I’m curious to know how the anonymous law enforcement officials knew these gentlemen were planning to use “allegedly purchased explosives” in “protests around Ferguson”.

I know that, and you know that. I was just trotting out the expected FoxNews-y version of the narrative, made necessary by the involvement of the New Black Panther Party, which, like Ebola, is poised to end our way of life, doncha know?
I think the real key to the entire Wilson/Brown confrontation is whether Brown tried to grab Wilson’s gun. And that, alas, is something we’ll probably never know for certain. Granted, the reactions of both Wilson and Brown to the encounter were probably dictated by a poisonous atmosphere of small-town, threatened whites policing a justifiably resentful black citizenry, with each group regarding the other as the “enemy.” In short, the truth is too nuanced for most people to get their heads around.

I wouldn’t be too surprised if the entire “New Black Panther” organization consists of 17 FBI agents & 4 dupes. They’ve shown before that it’s easier to dream up a crime than solve one. Soooo…Let’s ratchet the fear a little higher. We need some justification for going in with live ammo.
(*That being said, when all the facts are on the table, if they did stop a serious and imminent bomb plot, then kudos for them.)
