Discussion: FBI Agent Who Sent Anti-Trump Texts Escorted From Building As Part Of Probe

So when will the Anti-American Russian agent be escorted from the White House?

What I would love to see are the texts and e-mails that the so-called ā€œgood FBIā€ guys were exchanging with Nunes and Ghouliani. That is where the actual law breaking was taking place. These e-mails may come out one day, but by then it will be to late, and oldies like Ghouliani may well have died of really old age.

So itā€™s illegal now, or at least a fireable offense, to have thought Trump would not be a good president. Nice work, GOP. #MAGA #fascist SOBS

Wray has been better than I expected but this bend but donā€™t break approach is wearing thin with me. He should be dictating terms to Trump, not the other way around. Strzok is a political football and he didnā€™t do anything wrong. At least in McCabeā€™s case, one can see that he messed things up (against HRC). But the absurdity continues, this IG report is being used to say Trump was adversely affected, when virtually every page of it points to Trump being favored by the FBI and HRC biased.

Trump is turning the FBI into his own personal Staatssicherheitsdienst (Stasi). I do hope that Strzok gets a chance to testify. His reported willingness to do so apparently really rattled Trump.

Also,

Which IG? Who? Horowitz or someone else?

Iā€™m withholding judgement until TASS weighs in.

Wow, so now Americans are being investigated for having opinionsā€¦precisely the same opinions that several Republicans had of Trump before Trump took over the Republican party and demanded their complete loyalty and obeisance.

ā€œCNN was first to report that Peter Strzok, who also worked on the Hillary Clinton email investigate, was escorted out of the building on Friday. He remains an FBI employee, his lawyer said in the statement.ā€

Until he was sacked in a terrible way, McCabe was a bureau employee.

Sorry for the OT again, but Giuliani tells Huff Po that he was interviewed by FBI Agents in his Hotel room, earlier this year. So which is it, IG, FBI agents or both?

The FBI is a rogue right-wing white nationalist organization, and has been since its inception. It has been illegally infiltrating and disrupting peaceful anti-war and civil rights groups for decades. This did not stop under James Comey. Andrew McCabe was a leader of it.

There is little wonder why they would want to stop Hillary Clinton and wreck her campaign. It is what they do. The sense of shock and surprise expressed by Josh Marshall and others that the FBI would deliberately try to sabotage her campaign is, in itself, surprising.

Wouldnā€™t it have been nice to have had a Democratic administration and a Justice Department in office for 8 years that actually cared about cleaning house at the FBI?

Which one?

Agent Strzok is at the tender mercies of Sessions and Trump and they can bring down any manner of wanding/ajuditing/inspecting/escort-out-the-building bullshit with a phone call. SOBs are happy to humiliate him any way they can. Lawdy, canā€™t wait to hear the New York Field office texts. Canā€™t wait.

Itā€™s going to be interesting to watch what happens hereā€¦there is no evidence that Strzok allowed his political feelings to affect his job performance, so if he is fired they will have to come up with something. Having an opinion is allowed for all civil servants, they cannot be fired for their political beliefs, so I expect trumped up charges to appear at some point. The question is going to be if the rest of the FBI agents (who lean conservative) will be perfectly fine with this happening to someone who doesnā€™t like Trump, or if they will actually stand up for justice.

I honestly donā€™t know how it will go, at least some are perfectly fine with Trump trashing the FBI and the Constitution, but Iā€™d like to think the vast majority arenā€™t.

Speaking of Trumped-up charges, hereā€™s the next installment in the James Wolfe (the Senate Intelligence Committee staffer) saga. The indictment actually says ā€œthe disclosure of information ā€˜not otherwise publicly available.ā€™"
