WTF? Why didn’t you ask Donnie Drumpf? He knew years ago…
This reminds me of neighbors and relatives of those accused of carrying out mass shootings, “We didn’t really see much, except for the night, he was unloading some wooden crates and an RPG and two sticks of dynamite fell out of the crate. But overall, he was a good and respectful kid.”
Trump and his Brownshirt followers scapegoat the parents and relations in 5…4…3…2…
Seriously…all we need is to hook Derpy-D up to Cerebro and we’ll be all set.
President Trump will torture him. Just for the hell of it. His wife, too.
He’s lying
Who, Trump?
The son didn’t live at home, right?
Trump: I can actually relate to that. I dont even know how many kids I have had and their mother! Is Tiffany really my kid?
I’m assuming he lived at home. The son might have bulit a bunch of bombs without his father noticing but I find it hard to believe they never had a conversation that would’ve provided a clue to the guy’s rage.
But Don says he knows how to stop these folks who self-radicalize. Really he does, he’s just not saying until after the election.
Perhaps we should give this poor man some space and time.
He shed no tears and voice didn’t break at all. Oh, he knew! he knew!
CALLED IT!
It involves extreme vetting of who we allow in the country and then who we naturalize and then we profile them and let the really tough PO-LICE use the telephone book.
" I Had ‘No Idea’ What [his] Son Was Up To."
It’s possible. My Mother never knew what the hell I was doing… and it wasn’t all that great. In time it will all be clear.
Assuming it’s true that the father had no part in it (and I have no solid reason to believe otherwise), this has to be just devastating. Right up there with learning that your kid is a serial child molester, or something like that.
Father Of Bombing Suspect: I Had ‘No Idea’ What Son Was Up To
Herein lies the rub, but in no way should this let him off the hook. It’s likely because of his lack of relationship with his son and probably an over abundance of criticism toward his son that he felt compelled to attempt such deplorable acts. It is as much an indictment as knowing. Clearly he has failed in a fundamental responsibility. We absolutely need to stop scapegoating our children. He is not just a bad seed. He has been woefully misguided. It does not happen overnight.
Did he not know how many pressure cookers were being delivered by Amazon last week?
I read this father has spent 40 years killing chickens and then dropping them in boiling oil. Someone should look into this behavior, sounds violent and cruel.
There are plenty of young men with rage these days in the US. I don’t know if as a parent I’d make the leap to believing they would build a bomb. He may believe his son is capable of it in retrospect. Which is kind of what he said.
