THAT’S JUST SO FUCKING WRONG!!! There are people in the FBI who need to lose their jobs over this.

Does “mentally ill” make him any ;less dangerous than “morally ill”? Seems to me that he had his cognitive skills pretty well down to plan and execute what he thought would be a phenomenal act. A disorganized soul, Yes.but not a disorganized mind.

You’re assuming he did the planning. It’s possible the FBI agents led him down the path to this. They’ve done it before. It does sound like entrapment to me, too. But I don’t have all the facts in the case, so I’ll wait to pass judgment.

Just throw away the key. Geez.

“Without the Haldol, he thinks he’s Jesus, he’s tried to make gold before, he’s chased trolls. He’s very mentally ill,” Melonie Varnell told the Daily Beast, referring to the medication her son takes.

Has he considered running for President of the United States? I think there’s precedent.

If he had the intent and a passing shot at the means, I am glad they caught him. If he’s too mentally ill to be convicted then he won’t be.

yeah, I’d wait. because, to me, if you’ve got a violent individual willing to bomb a building I’d rather they get him off the street even though he lacks the mental state to be criminally culpable. In some cases involving mental illness and violence, it’s incredibly hard to do anything to interve before the harm. it’s certainly possible they will agree to a mental health plea.
