Where are these alleged ā€˜witnesses beyond the police’?

Open Carry State. Is it only open carry for people who aren’t black?

ā€œThe police allege that Scott exited the car with a weapon again as officers approached his vehicle, prompting Vinson to deem him a threat and open fire.ā€

The police allege that Scott exited the car and was still black as officers approached his vehicle, prompting Vinson to deem him a threat and open fire.

Still being helped to ā€œrememberā€ what they saw, i.e., booked for something fabricated.

Ok ok…now I’m straying towards tinfoil hat territory, but still…

Ah, non-uniformed officer, in the company of uniformed officers. And the non-uniformed guy is the one who draws his weapon and does the shooting. Couldn’t possibly be any reason for confusion or delay. If Vinson hadn’t been an officer, and Scott was in fact armed, Scott would have been the ā€œgood guy with a gunā€ helping the police…

If we had video it wouldn’t come down to he said, she said. This is why ALL POLICE should wear body cameras and have cameras in their vehicles, whether they’re plainclothes or uniformed.

And of course since there is no video, we cannot confirm that the cops are lying like they tent to do in pretty much every situation, no wonder the cops support Trump.

really getting tired of murderers wearing cop uniforms.

It’s getting harder and harder to believe the police on any issue, sad to say.

Start a ā€œBlack Second Amendment Rights Matterā€ protest, and mess with a lot of minds.

ā€œNorth Carolina is a traditional open carry state. You MAY open carry in a motor vehicle.ā€

And yet:

ā€œThe police allege that Scott exited the car with a weapon again as officers approached his vehicle, prompting Vinson to deem him a threat and open fire.ā€

Why would police in North Carolina view a man with a weapon, even in a motor vehicle, as a threat?

It must’ve been something else to ā€œdeem him a threat and open fireā€.

I wonder what that could’ve been.

(Scratches head.)

I wonder, I wonder, I wonder…

Very hard to know what to think about this particular case. For now, i think we should concentrate our efforts on the cases where there is definitive video evidence and start getting some real convictions. Once that happens, a lot of attitudes should start changing.

… in search of a different suspect with an outstanding warrant… they saw Scott enter and exit his car with a gun. The police allege that Scott exited the car with a weapon again as officers approached his vehicle…

So, (Open Carry State) he gets in and out of his car ā€œwith a gun,ā€ (a legal act) but is unaware there are LEOs approaching ('cause they are there for someone else, anyway). The LEOs see him ('cause they are hypervigilant, heading to serve the warrant), assume he’s one of those black…, uhhh… I mean bad guys with a gun, and shoots him dead without knowing he’s uninvolved in the warrant.

Let me guess. The man they were looking for was black, too, but since they all look alike, how were they to know this wasn’t their guy? Black man with a gun = criminal. I’m sure they don’t see the problem.

How the f*ck does this keep happening? The Crutcher shooting in Tulsa makes major, international news for days (again) and immediately after it a cop shoots another black man without proper justification.

The entire law enforcement system has developed the fatal flaw of allowing Florida-esque, stand-your-ground, I-felt-threatened shootings (murders) by the police, without fear of repercussions. I am sickened daily by what we’ve become.

I find it interesting that the police took every precaution not to kill the terrorist suspect and instead shot him in the leg. He was armed too and shooting and in fact shot two bullets into one of the officers, wearing a BPV. Why couldn’t they have done the same in this latest case. I recall many months back where a white man was standing in the middle of a shopping strip brandishing a weapon threatening to shoot everyone and yet, the police spent over an hour trying to convince him by talking to him and to lay down his weapon which he did. Why isn’t this same opportunity afforded to black people.

If they killed the NJ/NYC suspect, they wouldn’t have been able to torture him later.

In all likelihood, these alleged witnesses weren’t there to witness anything at all.
