Could be a Bernie supporter; could be a false-flagger. Skepticism and search engines are effective tools to unmask much of such deceptive trolling. Unfortunately, numerous reports of political deception feeds the idea that everyone does it, which fosters jaded cynicism and why botherism to general political participation. That’s when we all suffer.

Those are the kinds of voters that used to elect “Blue Dog” Democrats – when such voters and politicians existed within our party. However, some self-identified Democrats denigrate them and say the party is better off without them, because they don’t align with “our” values. Their exodus by the millions from former Democratic identity to Republican or independent status has piteously diminished the political strength of labor unions and the middle class.
This partly explains why millions of “Reagan Democrats” never returned to the Democratic Party after the end of the Reagan-G.H.W. Bush administrations. Politico has two current articles that touch upon this phenomenon: one discusses Democrats’ plans to “shatter the GOP” in 2016; the other discusses the anti-establishment fervor of Trump’s and Sanders’ supporters.
