And people used to laugh at me when I told them I didn’t ā€œdoā€ Facebook…

Guess who’s laughing now?

They’ll have a chance to delete apps they no longer want.

ā€œā€¦ and will be automatically enrolled in new ones.ā€

Knowing Facebook’s track record with honesty, this number will likely double in a month.

Oh yeah, I know Google is tracking my every move, but I do every thing I can to reduce what they track; location, etc…

Instagram, or any other social media? No…

And I will never ever have an appliance or car that will spy on me, or an Amazon Echo, etc, etc, etc.

Does google sell the data? Asking for a friend.

I think they claim not to, but I wasn’t born yesterday. Again, I try to not provide any more info than necessary…

Are we sure they aren’t still using them. I am receiving all kinds of shit from Americans for Prosperity with the caption that this or that conservative friend likes the Koch Brother’s group.

Drip, drip, drip… soon 100+ million.

Katie Couric: Mr. Zuckerberg, how many facebook users’ accounts were breached?

Mark Zuckerberg: All of them, Katie!

I set up a fake FB account and am slowly filling it with a mind numbing variety of posts, links, personality tests, cat videos, dog video, honey badger videos, and games, and I’m making friends with every scam artist and wingnut group that cross my path. This is my personal gift to Cambridge Analytica! Screw their data.

No need to thank me; Patriotism goes way back in my family. I am merely a Conduit of Righteousness Indignation.

If they are admitting to 87M, then that number is probably a lot higher. I believe they only copped to 250k or so in the beginning of this fiasco. It is also relevant to note that this data wasn’t ā€˜stolen’ in a breach from Facebook. The app that originally obtained the data did so completely within Facebook’s TOS. That data was then ā€˜sold’ to CA.
