Discussion: Experts Split If Robots Will Usurp Human Workers By 2025

Discussion for article #226159

Don’t we already have this issue in congress? The top income have robots in the congress working for them. Especially the house gop. It has caused higher employment and less human interaction because they always run away and hide. Just sayin and it’s not working out so well for most of the population.

A clever young man from Racine
Invented a sex machine.
A machine quite complex
It could serve any sex
Entertaining itself in the mean.

I, for one, welcome our new robot overlords.

This isn’t about the technology (stupid linkbait headline aside), it’s about the politics. There are ways to introduce automation that lead to more jobs, and there are ways to do it that lead to fewer jobs. Those are about the investment choices of rich people, not about how well the technology works.

That said, if automation creates more jobs than it destroys, will there be a headline in TPM saying that humans have usurped the position of robots?
