Well, “Coffee Boy” is going to be scalding a lot of balls in the White House.

How many coffee boy volunteers do you know who would lie to the FBI? It’s almost as if he thought he was protecting the coffee drinkers.

A corollary of “if you’re explaining, you’re losing” - if there’s a picture that an opponent can flash over and over and over that instantly (literally, in an instant) and absolutely refutes anything you just said, you’re gonna have a bad time.

“The kid was 27 years old,” Caputo said later of Papadopoulos.

Well, no, he was 29, now 30, so that “youthful indiscretion” thing just doesn’t hold up. And, in case you’ve forgotten, Jared Kushner is only 36. Can we ascribe his misdeeds to youthful indiscretion too?

In a few hours: “He was Hillary’s coffee boy. Why aren’t we investigating her?”

Personally, I agree that Papadopoulos was pretty low in the chain. But that’s why he was first.

Papadopoulos is almost to the day 2 years younger than Stephen Miller, one of Trump’s most trusted aides. At the height of the campaign they were 29 and 31 years old. 29 is a callow, immature kid lacking good political judgment, and 31 is a seasoned sage that can be entrusted with the innermost secrets of the nation state. Yeah. Fuck you Caputo.

“the coffee boy” - this should tell anyone who is thinking about falling on their sword for the POS moron how much he values their “loyalty”. Carter Page apparently thinks he will be the Messiah for the GOP.

If you think you’re smart enough to outwit the cops, you are not smart enough to outwit the cops. They listen to bullshitters like you for a living and they know bullshit when they hear it.

Don’t you mean that he was the “unpaid intern”?

I hope to God he was wearing a wire after July and that the rest of them are fried.

Manafort was the “unpaid intern,” silly. I’m surprised they haven’t used this: He wasn’t even paid! How could he matter?

And Russian electoral hacking/rigging was the coffee.

Right, keep up the insults, idiots, I’m sure “Coffee Boy” will take them in stride and not remember anything else that might hurt.

“Paul Manafort and others showed up because he was the son of the candidate,” Caputo granted. “And it was a meeting that shouldn’t have happened and devolved very quickly and everybody left.”

They keep telling us how it devolved and ended quickly. But I don’t recall any evidence of that - or that there was no followup after this meeting. Only assurances from those in attendance - each one being such a pinnacle of virtue.

I was a volunteer for the Obama campaign: I sat in a crummy room and called voters. There might have been a few stale donuts.
