Just another Cohn man who is just happy he is one of the few to escape the trump hellscape with his reputation intact.
When Cohn, a Democrat, was briefly economic adviser to moron and was trying to explain Economics to him, moron’s reply was they should print more money if there’s not enough to go around. I think he was happy to be asked to leave.
Just here to say that I love the repetition at the end… He knows his target audience.
"…the government needs to be open, the government needs to be open, he has got to get the government open.”
He has got to get the government open. Trump does. Not Nancy Pelosi (I call her Nancy). He does. No rhetorical support even from his former advisers. Bummer, dude.
He was probably bummed that he didn’t have giant graphics to hold up that explain the issue and included a picture of donnie.
Well, if he bent any further backward he could make snow angels. Trump is perfect, phenomenal, never been better, just needs to clear up this one little thing.
Keep painting, Donnie, you’re almost there…

I loved this latest example of his failing faculties. I wonder if he had thought of a “great” slamming nickname and then forgot it…so it just came out: “I call her Nancy.”
Or then again, maybe he chickened out at the last minute. ![]()
Sniffly-McIdiot has ideas? GTFO!
“Look a lot of his ideas are phenomenal,” he told MSNBC’s Stephanie Ruhle from the economic summit in Davos, Switzerland. “A lot of things he’s doing are great and people don’t understand. He’s growing the economy, he’s creating jobs, he’s doing the right things — the government needs to be open, the government needs to be open, he has got to get the government open.”

Take away the talking points and these fucks have no clue other than “soak the poors and middle class” because “job creators.”
Ruhle was great, by the way. Cohn’s laying it on ever thicker in what I have to think was an effort to actually get Trump to hear him and she interrupts, “The government’s shut down, Gary,” in this cut-the-crap tone friends use with each other.
Well especially since in the next breath he calls her Nancy Pelosi.
Make up your mind, if you still have enough to make up, motherfucker.
Don’t F**k with a petite, smart ginger. Just don’t. Stephanie is impressively, unshakable. She knows her economic shit and is not afraid to use it.
The government needs to open very strongly
The very strong government needs to open
The government needs to very strongly open
Very strongly: the government needs to open
I lean more to the last one. Glee Club cheer…
I don’t watch TV but I occasionally see bits of that show and they’re both good. I’m kind of lacking in aptitude with economics but even I could learn something from watching it, I’m pretty sure.
It does need to be open because it is already affecting the economy in ways large and small.
In my world, the poop really hits the fan in March because that is when HUD’s Section 8 rental subsidy payments to landlords will likely run out. Whether this will spur Trump to act since he and Kushner own rentals with Section 8 tenants is anyone’s guess. . Fortunately, the leases prevent the landlord from evicting the tenant if the government doesn’t pay its share, but it is an open question whether any landlords would take the step of attempting to break their contracts with HUD due to non-payment, then seek to evict tenants.
Do they get to keep the knee pads they were provided when they leave their White House positions?
“Look a lot of his ideas are
phenomenaljust plain batshit crazy,” he told MSNBC’s Stephanie Ruhle from the economic summit in Davos, Switzerland. “A lot ofThe things he’s doing aregreatdestructive to society, to the very rule of law, and peopledon’tunderstand. He’sgrowingsinglehandedly destroying the economy — his tantrum has cost it over $5 billion so far, he’s creating jobs (just kidding!), he’s doingthe rightdeplorable, typically Trumpian things — the government needs to be open, the government needs to be open, he has got to get the government open.”
Fixed it for you, Gar.
