Discussion for article #238527
At least his stay at a Club Fed will somewhat reduce his chances of being broken in half “like a boy.”
Yeah, I always wondered whether the streets of Staten Island are littered with halves of boys or what.
Burn? Really?
I guess you can put a crook into the Marines, but you can’t put a Marine into a crook.
Tax fraudster and disgraced ex-Rep. Michael Grimm (R-NY): “A Marine is taught not to fail.”
Semper felonious!
He knew the rules about paying his employees. He chose to cheat. He gets to contemplate his choice.
Mikey killed himself to better himself, but had to skip on payroll taxes and still failed.
If he had been thinking about his business, his customers, and employees in the first place, he might have still failed, but he would have been able to hold his head up high.
Payroll taxes and employment regulations are for the peasants! And stop soiling the name of Marines everywhere by trying use your service as an excuse.
“Burn? Really?”
Yeah.
Suggesting that a felon’s moral compass needs adjustment is terribly harsh and aggressive. Almost makes me feel sorry for the guy!
No. Not really. Just a click bait title.
Note to writer: This is a “burn”
Yeah, I guess something professional like “Judge Admonishes Ex-Rep…” isn’t click-baity enough.
“A Marine is taught not to fail.”
But commiting tax fraud…not so much.
Disgraced ex-Rep. Michael Grimm (R-NY), who is perhaps best known for threatening to break a reporter in half "like a boy," was sentenced Friday to eight months behind bars for tax fraud.
What did that — “like a boy” — mean anyway?
his health food restaurant, Healthalicious
Grimm’s being sentenced to the hoosegow: schadenfreudelicious.
Oh, he’ll do alright in prison…He’s got “a purty mouth”…
Just another posturing thug who cried when the hammer came down.
Brava to that judge.
Then there are some of us who might have to be defenestrated from grace!
