Yeah and the Dem’s did not hammer Rubio when he did this by using the GOP fiscal conservatism against them. If they are so concerned with fiscal restraint, fiscal soundness, and a balanced approach then why gut a part of the law that helps keep the law on solid footing? Well because they push that fiscal soundness to the side when it suits them. They attacked a part of the law that meant a more stable approach because they disagree with the law.
It is telling that the GOP and the PEOTUS have basically said regardless of the fact that they are in power that they don’t own the ACA. Well if that is the case then the GOP can fucking suck it when it comes to Civil rights or all the jobs created for the new deal, or the development of the weapon which ended WW II. None of these were headed by the GOP. So if yo take these away from them, then what does the GOP have to show for itself? What are it’s unique accomplishments? The end of the cold war? Amnesty for 1 million immigrants (during Reagan’s tenure)? Watergate?
