Discussion: Ex-Presidents' Reunion At Funeral Likely To Be Uncomfortable For Trump

I’ll be watching to see if the crucifixes in the National Cathedral begin to bleed when Trump walks in.

Maybe they’ll break out a golf cart for him.

But during national brotherhood week, national brotherhood week,
It’s national everyone-smile-at-one-another-hood week.
Be nice to people who
Are inferior to you.
It’s only for a week, so have no fear.
Be grateful that it doesn’t last all year!

Obama has too much class to taint 41’s funeral in any way. If Bill Clinton is one of the speakers I think that would be all the needling Trump could handle.

I hope one of them asks, ‘Donnie, what do you want to be when you grow up?’

He’ll be fine. Turns out it’s not a funeral. It’s a party!

One of the more uncomfortable encounters will likely be when Trump and Billy Bush cross paths.

This article makes it abundantly clear that Dotard T rumpp is very, very alone. Twitter is his only comfort zone.

I’d love to have the Presidents sitting next to each other - Obama on one side of Trump and Bill Clinton the other. Must see TV for sure.
Unfortunately they’ll likely sit boy/girl, boy/girl with Hillary as far from Trump as possible. Y’know, to preserve decorum.

Another Trump tweet not written by Trump.

Ain’t it the truth?

All this pomp and circumstance is bound to drive Donnie batshit crazy, all while pining for an honorific military parade that never came to be. That alone is worth the price of admission.

As an aside, you can bet Don the Con had nothing whatsoever to do with putting this funeral together in any way, shape or form…I’m pretty sure the military presence was set up completely by the joint chiefs without any input from any of the lackeys in the White House.

It should be, other than George having to appear polite who else wants to share small talk with him. I see a repeat of the G20 session.

Grump as usual looks constipated sitting there. Not enough time on the golden throne this morning I suspect.

Executive time began a little too early for our Moron in Chief.

Apparently he plans to tweet through the funeral to relieve his boredom with having to do and be somewhere where everything isn’t about him.

I’m sure there’s room for two in that casket. Bush won’t mind.

That’s the only reason I’d watch it but I’m not watching it for that even cause we’ll get that later.

I’ll bet you, even at his advancing age tRump hasn’t been to many funerals. I’m guessing you could probably count them on one hand (like maybe his brother and parents and that’s it). He doesn’t strike me as the kind of person that lets himself go where 1) things aren’t about him, 2) he’s expected to feel any emotions he’s unaccustomed to, especially in public, 3) he’s forced to sit there and reflect on someone else’s life.

Actually, I think that extends to any situation where he has to reflect on anything, at all.

Granting that we all live our lives in the first draft, some of us want the later chapters to be a better product in some sense. The OberbefehlScheisskopf doesn’t seem to belong to that crew.
