This is very good news for Donald Trump.
YES!!!
“He was the only New Jersey congressmen to vote for the 2017 tax overhaul and backed repeal of the Affordable Care Act.”
He was so arrogant to think that he could screw NJ, not hold town halls and still get re-elected… This win is sweet! Thank you NJ3 and Andy Kim.
Is this win counted among 38 or did we move now to 39?
Wow, an 11-1 delegation from New Jersey. That’s incredible.
Celebrate:
As a proud resident of NJ-3, I’m so glad that we got rid of MacArthur. I’m really excited to see what Kim will do in the upcoming years.
Nay, nay, nay, nay, nay, tRump
What are the numbers now? I’ve lost track.
And California’s 10th was called this morning, meaning we flipped another seat today.
I’m having trouble getting info on Maine’s 2nd. They haven’t released any 2nd and 3rd place voting info, have they? With only four candidates, they could report it all, couldn’t they? Eg:
Candidate A: 100,000 votes (of those, 2nd choice: 70K for candidate B, 20K for candidate C, 5K for candidate D, 5K didn’t indicate a 2nd choice), etc…
When will that be released? Or when will they knock out the 4th place finisher and show the votes for the top 3 candidates?
I think this now puts the Dem gains at 39 seats with 12 races still undeclared.
Excellent. I was trying to figure it too, so thanks.
I was trying to back into the numbers based on 538’s ongoing tracking but I could be off if another CA seat was called.
I am sure Trump is so sick of all the WINNING the republications are doing! It is almost like they has some TIGER BLOOD!
My joy and embarrassment just continue to grow. The joy is for obvious reasons, but the embarrassment is for my weeping and wailing on election night when I thought we’d only picked up a slim majority. The jokes on me…and I’ll take it!
Andy Kim & Tom Malinowski have very solid credentials in foreign policy…so happy that both of them won. They will be a boon to the D team
woohoo!

If half of those seats break our way we could seriously be looking at 45 seats. A few more and we could be looking at the kind of control for a decade or more that we THOUGHT Republicans had in 2011. And remember, this is with all that awful gerrymandering in place that will be upended in 2021.
So much of this winning, but I am not yet tired of winning.
My district in California (CA-39) is still undeclared. And I’m crossing my fingers for my candidate.
