Discussion for article #227242
Anyone is entitled to his/her views. The problems as I see it is that they hired him as an expert on NATIONAL SECURITY.
He did say he read a book on 9/11, so that makes him more qualified than Sarah Palin was for VP.
Is he still an anti-vaxxer? An anti-climate changer?
Stallworth seems to be antitruthing on quite a few topics. And he’s supposed an expert???
I think it’s great if someone can change their mind when presented with facts that contradict their original belief.
However, it is left to be seen if he is just saying he changed his mind to deflect any heat he has been getting. i.e it’s possible that he could change his mind about changing his mind.
Does HuffPo have any credibility left?
First, they convert the comment system so that you can only comment by logging in through Facebook – while, at the same time, running multiple articles saying why you should cancel your Facebook account.
They hired Dr. Phil. Nuff said on that one.
They wrote an op-ed excoriating the hackers and the people who viewed the nude celebrity photos for misogyny while at the same time they have a page on their site specifically devoted to “Sideboob.” (There are no male images on that page nor is the a “crotchwatch” page on HuffPo.)
Their aggregate sources include such disreputable sites like Drudge Report and Mediaite.
And now, this. This doesn’t surprise me. It’s just in keeping with how trashy HuffPo has become. It’s just continuing the downward slide. Garbage in. Garbage out.
First there was:
“Report: HuffPost Investigated Former Managing Editor For Sexual Harassment”
Then:
“The ex-NFL player who was hired by the Huffington Post to cover national security apparently no longer believes 9/11 was an inside job.”
Looks like HuffPost is on a roll today.
Based on the fact that he was still tweeting truther references in 2013, I’d say your second statement applies here.

NOT IN MY HOUSE!!
I’ve kept my identity secret for too long.
I’m actually Donte’ Stallworth. I wasn’t expecting all the pushback I got from other TPM users on the earlier thread after bringing up skepticism of the 9/11 Commission, so I sent out these new tweets.
Do stop by and read my HuffPo column once in a while.
Forever yours,
DS
Silly person (tisk, tisk)

This seems like one more confirmation that their main goal is generating controversy (and clicks) rather than maintaining any sense of credibility.
But Tom Kludt thinks it was for romantic conquests…
Years ago HuffPost began publishing “sideboob” stories purely for clicks because they knew guys would fall for the prurient interest angle (Who’s side boob is it today?). I knew then my time would be limited there as it was turning into the on-line version of a grocery store rag.
On another note I would not trust an ex-profootballer to be an astronomy expert (see donte’s tweet).
I was just showing two TPM article headlines, not passing judgement on Mt Kludt’s writing. He’s free to think what he will.
I checked his bio, and Stallworth doesn’t have the educational credentials or experience to be hired as an expert on anything (except perhaps football injuries, etc)
He’s free to think what he will–No one said otherwise.
However, equating sexual harassment with romantic conquests is certainly revealing.
The smoking gun regarding 9/11 is the symmetrical collapse of Building 7. It is the best evidence that explosives were planted and that the buildings were in fact demolished. Motive?: The most likely motive is that the Bush/Cheney gang orchestrated the 9/11 attacks so that they could get their wars going in the Middle East.
Another interesting aside about Donte…he was nearly killed a couple of years ago when a hot air balloon he was in struck power lines…just an interesting related to nothing tid bit
