FINALLY, a lawyer called for a cowardly abuse of the knowledge of Law to be cut out of the profession! The excessive abuses of the license to practice law, based on a lack respect for it, by those who cynically use the certification of the Bar to undermine the health and diversity of this country should be tried and disciplined by the Bar.

I have the same thought - what is he trying to do and for whom is he working? While I would love to see this guy tossed out of the bar immediately, I keep wondering if he is trying to set up some sort of discrimination lawsuit - i.e., that they took away his license based on the content of his speech and not any specific acts. Perhaps he is just a crackpot that acts based on whatever voices he hears when he shuts his eyes, but I cannot help but think that there is some sort of hidden agenda here.

I feel that if this guy was truly one of the deluded legions that honestly believe the shit he is slinging, he’d be out front, loud and proud, like the Westboro people.
That he is so historically invisible and so hard to find after dropping his initiative turdlet suggests to me that this can only be an elaborate prank pulled on the people of California.
Maybe he’s trying to point out how broken our initiative system is here, that anyone with ~300 bucks can troll California.

The “ignored” part only comes after the “rendering harmless” part.
The fundamental reason for the existence of self government of the people, by the people and for the people is to identify the sick and dangerous within our society and to Render. Them. Harmless.
There are many ways to go about that process, but that is the process. Be it incarceration or mental institutions or whatever specific circumstances dictate.
Then the harmless lunatics can be ignored, in favor of focusing on other pertinent problems.
In this case, the California Bar is enabling this level of danger to innocent civilians amongst our population. The laws that allow this petition to even enter into the system are also enabling of this behavior.
The California Bar itself needs to take action, or be held culpable and liable. The laws that allow this dangerous lunatic to roam free and engage in this sort of behavior need to be adjusted.
Only then may we proceed with the possibility of “ignoring.”
Now i’m glad i read some of the comments first. I figured I’d get some flack for this but I had similar thoughts. I mean isn’t it a good thing that the AG doesn’t get to decide what can be circulated and what not? All good that Ms. Harris like any human finds this to be reprehensible but what if the AG was a turd like pence? Besides as disgusting as this is I too would be interested in how many signatures he gets. In words attributed to Genghis Khan " I would rather face a thousand enemies than one traitor in my tent." I would rather know my enemies and what I have to deal with. The number of signatures or votes for this would tell us a lot.
