One year is not nearly enough.

You are right - one year isn’t enough. Still, I am happy. It is time that CEOs get more than fines which mean relatively nothing to their comfortable life styles. I hope he’s incarcerated in a rough prison, and I hope he spends every day until his sentence begins afraid, shaking, and crying.

Looks like trickle down might just happen after all —

He’s gonna’ need some expensive “protection” where he’s going —

He’ll serve the max: 12.5 days per death (less with good behavior). Sheesh.

So less then two weeks for each person killed? Meanwhile, in Louisiana we have a guy facing a possible 30yrs - Life for stealing $30 bucks of candy-bars.

Did you guys see this video? Tommy Davis reacts to Blankenship sentence.

This guy was there that day, and knew the men killed. At least one was part of his own family.

I get that it’s good Blankenship was found guilty at all, but shame on our justice system for doing more.

I’m sure he’s learned a lesson; next time he’ll hire people so scared of deportation they won’t demand workplace safety or decent wages, and will hide from authorities rather than demand justice for friends and coworkers who die from the job.
