Since this is my neck of the woods I had to go check this out. First off, the guy had only been on the payroll since January 1. He was brought in by a group that had won election in a ‘coup’ the previous November. Payne is indeed a bit of a dick. He harassed the HR mgr when she wouldn’t bend to his will to hire a ‘second in command’ and explained the harassment as the woman not being used to a ‘strong man’. He only wanted a map of where Muslims lived and did not say ‘everyone’ until the investigation. There are anti-Muslim activists circulating around the country, speaking mostly in small towns outside large urban areas, telling tales of how Muslims are there to effect a stealth takeover of the US to implement Shariah law. This is generally under the radar of mainstream media, but the Minneapolis Star Tribune has carried a couple of stories on it. Because they avoid TV and the mainstream exposure it brings, the audience members receive no contradictory information to the lies spewed by these speakers and so are able to maintain their closed bubble. You know how these folks vote. I’m curious as to who funds all this.
