Hey, kids, let’s all do the spin!

awww poor poor thing you got caught telling the truth…that’s gonna look bad on the rest of your applications to your next republicon run admin…
A former aide to New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie’s office said Thursday that she used a “poor choice of words” when she claimed that Christie “flat out lied”
He stated plainly that he was working the cones.
That’s like trying to walk back herpes.
That’s not phraseology nor substance that you can misspeak. She can moonwalk all she wants but she can’t put the shit back in the dog.

It is very possible she was just giving voice to a feeling and not making an empirical statement. Betcha this all blows over. Much as I wish otherwise.

Funny how bold, honest statements get “walked back” when Luca Brasi, I mean Chris Christie, comes calling. She’d rather be able to walk/breathe than do the right thing.
Ok, poor choice of words…
Other than ‘flat out lied’, what words would you have used?
She could now clarify by saying, “I used a poor choice of words. I should have said, ‘Chris Christie took a deep breath, hitched up his massive trousers and spewed a torrent of putrid, breathtaking mendacity that would make a port-a-potty seem like a bed of roses.’”
Christie is so done that his only hope is attaching himself to a pig like Trump…
That is desperation on steroids.
what she meant to say was “FAT out lied”, har har har
Indeed. I’m old enough to have seen The Godfather when it first opened, so references to Luca Brasi may mean nothing to the youngsters today. But, Christie is a dead ringer for Lenny Montana who played the hit man in the movie. Luca Brasi at least had some sort of twisted honor about him; something Christie clearly lacks.
I bet the threats she received right after her testimony used poor choice of words as well.
Two dimensionally prevaricated.
It seems to me Governor Christie could resolve this issue very easily by taking the stand. That will happen when he flies without a plane or helicopter, approximately never.
The lane closures were clearly an extension of Christi’s intent. He can claim he didn’t order a specific act at a certain time, but the act is consistent with the way he’d want things done.
