I agreed with everything Mittens said about the Rump. I disagree that any other Republican is the slightest bit better. Except maybe they’d be slightly less likely to start an avoidable war by foolishly shooting off their mouths at the wrong moment.

For the next debate, I suggest that Jerry Springer be the moderator BUT the wives, ex-wives, mistresses, peccadillo partners all be invited to participate and that the wannabes have their hard-drives exposed nationally rather than their tax returns.

I heard the debate was to be in Flint MI, so I am surprised it is in Detroit, some 60 miles away.
I doubt I will watch, but I want to know the obvious: will Cruz be asked why he, and 9 other Republicans put a hold on the bailout funds for Flint water contamination (paid from already approved auto bailout funds)? Will Cruz and Rubio use their Senatorial “might” to encourage the last Senatorial hold, Mike Lee of Utah, to drop his stupid personal BS?
I sincerely doubt FoxNews will ask such questions.

At this point I have to plead that I really don’t know for sure whether the Oligarchs want Trump or not (and which ones). IF they do then we’ll get butterknife questions or worse the frathouse schtick Trump excels at
As I’ve posted several times I’m hoping for a major landslide such that would make 1964 (Goldwater’s loss) look like a piker by comparison. I want Trump’s ass and head handed to him.

(a) fall for Trump’s bullshit because there is no way that they could have experienced the things that people my age have experienced in the United States
(b) treat Trump like a reality TV star
(c) be exposed to the cleaned-up MSM-friendly Trump
(d) be more than matched by NEW racists and xenophobes hitherto non-participant as voters
(e) have to also OUTVOTE evangelicals (who VOTE) who have been snookered by Trump

If nominated he will lose. If elected he will not be allowed to serve.
Romney had already left Bain Capital. He left them in '99 to work on the Olympics. So his assets would easily be put into blind trusts. Indeed, I think some of them already were.
And again, we are talking about paper assets there. In Trumps case we are talking about great big physical real assets.
Every debate, I’m hoping for a physical landslide that destroys the whole building and carries the lot of them out to sea.
