I can only imagine that they feel comfortable doing this because they know they are safe from impeachment thanks to Republicans power and refusal to work with the other side. If there is no shame and these guys take a 50+1 mentality, there are no consequences for being an unqualified person.

Trump supporters probably believe that Kushner knocked it out of the park with every question. That’s the country we live in. What looks like an utter debacle to us appears as the greatest performance ever to team Trump. There’s no seeing eye to eye on any of this, unfortunately.

I am a big HBO fan, but at this point I am not sure I am even going to watch this interview. All I can imagine is me sitting there thinking that this is one of the most powerful people in Trump’s administration and how tthis flagrant and almost treasonous example of dictator-like nepotism has been given a free pass by much of the media and all of the Republicans.

I don’t need anything else to enrage or depress me.

One question: when he said “you can’t be a racist for 69 years, then…”. Who exactly was he talking about? -because it’s obviously not Trump.

And after all the his campaign has put the country through, I can’t believe he has the gall and temerity to suggest he’d do it again. Anyone who thinks this is okay is un-American. And meanwhile, they’re working overtime to make sure actual Americans can’t vote.
