Nature abhors a vacuum. So as Trump continues to degrade America as a world leader, others…in particular the EU…will move in to fill that vacuum.
This phenomenon will get much worse at the regional level. The Middle East is one area where this is playing out right now vis a vis Qatar. But there will be more, all across the globe.
