Discussion: ESPN Panelist Flips When NOW Calls For Goodell To Resign Over Rice Video

Discussion for article #227562

“In July, Smith was suspended from ESPN for a week after a comment he made about domestic violence.”

Has he tried counseling?

Oh my Stephen A. You just got off a suspension for saying stupid things about domestic violence, you know the statements you made that women are responsible for this kind of abuse. “This woman is off her rocker”? I guess I am too since I agree with her but in reality, no Stephen A, I am not off my rocker.

At least he will have is good friend Sean Hannity to defend him.

With his history of misogyny, his days at ESPN should be numbered. Which is good. He used his right to say what he wanted. He now can be held accountable for it.

He will probably end up on Fox. Which speaks volumes about Fox as well.

Funny he called someone else “off her rocker” - I would have characterized his behavior as quite histrionic (just saying)

Stephen should avoid elevators and take the stairs. Lest he run into a woman not sitting in a rocker.

The only explanation (other than Stephen A Smith is an idiot) I have for this is that Smith is embarking on a false flag operation to prove NOW’s point within the Sports-Industrial complex.

Lets look up and see how Stephen Smith handled the Sandusky Penn State debacle.

Stephen A., it’s better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.

Smith better check his facts. A 'few cases of domestic violence committed by NFL players"? Try 77 reported cases injust the last 3 years alone. 77 Reported…that means police were involved! There were many more than that.

Hey Smith…what about the murder suicide case involving the KC Chiefs player and his wife whom he was abusing and flipped out when a restraining order was issued against him.

ESPN needs to fired Smith and the NFL needs to fire Goodell.

Domestic violence and violence away from the game has been a big problem for the NFL and it is getting worse. Even the great Jim Brown has been arrested for domestic violence and assault and battery over the years…he was even given time behind bars.

In Smith’s words…“cesspool”.

Why expect any sort of objective coverage from ESPN ? They are all but merged with the NFL for all intents and purposes.
Stephen Smith is just a paid talking head, toeing the corporate line and saying what management, ESPN & the NFL, wants said.

If you want objectivity on this topic, try talking to your neighbor’s dog.

Here’s Stephen Smith on the Penn State scandal. Notice how he treats Goodall compared to the Penn State athletes who had nothing to do with Jerry Sandusky.

ClickBait for an ESPN douchebag.

This dumbass doesn’t learn.

My sneaking suspicion is that he believes that the bitch had it coming.

Apparently you haven’t seen Keith Olbermann’s commentaries.

You know how you know the NFL really fucked up, their designated water-carriers (Adam Schefter, Peter King, a couple of others) are pissed and either backtracking or calling Goodell out. Him lying, then throwing them under the bus made them look either like hacks or just professionally incompetent.

Well, if it’s coming from this moron…

How about this. I’m a man. I’ve got a (large, impressive, terrifying) penis. I am not a member of NOW nor to I think I will ever be invited to join.

And I agree that Goodell should be shitcanned immediately.

Didn’t Keith Olbermann call for Goodell’s resignation? Is he off his rocker, too?

Amen!
