More proof of the “Conservative Bubble”.
They don’t like it when REALITY intrudes into their little fantasy-world so they do everything they can to keep it outside “The Bubble”. You are either a “true believer” who needs no facts or evidence, or you are one of the enemy.
meeting with voters across Iowa, allowing them
Gracious, like a rural empress…
Send this pig castrator back to the barn, not to Washington.
She’s terrified of having a Palin-esque interview like the one with Kouric.
“They made a clear in a number of editorials they would not be supporting my candidacy”
Yes, to be fair, they did indeed do that…when they represented to the public that they were going to base their endorsement decisions on the candidates’ ability to articulate and defend rational policy positions with facts and data. Now, we all know that most newspapers and MSM outlets, etc., don’t REALLY do that, so what this really means is that she’s very afraid of being so utterly ridiculous that they can’t even massage and misrepresent the interview sufficiently to justify endorsing her (you know, liek that paper that interviewed Kasich and now wants to hide his interview video because it’s a joke and somewhat offensive, but they endorsed him anyway).
. "It’s important for me to be out on the road meeting with voters across Iowa, allowing them to reach out and shake my hand and ask me tough questions
But her not meeting with the editorial board because there was nothing in it for her makes you wonder if she would reach out and talk to groups that may not agree with her…would she talk to them anyway?
I don’t know; I’ve had interviews where I figured I would not get the job but I tried anyway. I know that’s not the same but sometimes you have to put your best foot forward. And if you fall, you get right back up and try again.
Her move seems a bit cowardly.
Joni Ernst is a toxic mix of Sharron Angle and Christine O’Donnell—with a heady dose of Todd Aiken thrown in for good measure.
If this cretin is elected Senator, Iowans will spend the next six years muttering “What the hell happened?” and regretting their choice.
She’s totally unqualified for any position of public trust, and her hare-brained right-wing ideas are failures waiting to fuck up the country.
and this clown will probably be elected…
Let’s work to make sure that doesn’t happen. A good turn out in Iowa and she’ll lose.
perhaps barley should tell voters why Ernst would get the editoral boards supports
Braley has been endorsed by the Des Moines Register, Cedar Rapidss Gazette and Quad City Times which are the 3 largest newspapers in the state. All of them have endorsed Republicans in general elections in the past (the Register picked Romney in 2012).
how is this woman still leading the polls?
It is not like it is Mississippi. I thought Iowans had more sense than that.
“they would not be supporting my candidacy”
… plus an extended conversational give & take would only provide a huge risk of revealing more mental instability …
The last thing I want to do is answer a lot of questions…
They made a clear in a number of editorials they would not be supporting my candidacy.
Whatever happened to the notion of representing all of your constituents, rather than simply representing the ones who support you?
Mrs. Clinton lowers the BOOM on Joni Ernst:
I despise this piece of shit, and I’d like to punish anyone who supports her.
“They made a clear in a number of editorials they would not be supporting my candidacy”
Why? Just because you’re a vile, hateful stooge for the Koch brothers who has absolutely nothing of value to offer the people of Iowa but to take away the rights of others whom an angry ideological minority of them disagree with?
Yeah, afraid of a few reporters and she thinks she can be a US Senator.
Why did Hillary have to say this; where was Chuck Todd?
