I try to make a point of believing the woman but in the case of one who apparently believes missing out as VP for the Manchurian Combover was painful, and who voted for kidnapping children as well as advertising her pig castrating expertise as a congressional qualification, well, I’d tend to grant a fair amount of credence to the husband’s concerns as well. Just say’n.

Some thoughts. She was about 21-22 and he was about 40 when they hitched. She actually sounds like an emotionally battered spouse and he- a whining control freak; word of advise: Don’t marry someone who is old enough to be be your father’s fishing buddy.

where has she been on all the close call votes for healthcare or women’s issues, Kavanaugh, etc? Ever flirting with voting for common sense? Only women Rs seem woo-able in the Senate - no men. Murkowski, Collins etc. Ernst is never even mentioned.

He asked for alimony. It’s plausible that they didn’t save for retirement so much because she was so much younger, so that nest egg isn’t available to divide. And her congressional pension, if any, won’t kick in for decades.

He’s claiming his lifestyle shouldn’t be affected by the divorce. Unlike millions of women who leave husbands they can’t stand.
