Discussion: Erick Erickson: Trump 'Did Nothing Wrong' In Obama-Muslim Incident

Discussion for article #240800

…Yeh…Trump did everything ‘right’…

Ahhh, shaddap, Erick, Son Of Erick. There are no women around for you to criticize here.

Well…of course. Whadya expect?

Did anybody expect anything different from the doughy pantload?

I hope the day this waste of flesh falls ass-first onto a live chainsaw is drawing near.

Some rats actually climb aboard sinking ships.

“This is a ridiculous media generated story,” he wrote. “And oh, by the way, Barack Obama talked about his Muslim faith. Not that he’s a muslim, mind you. The man is a secularist.”

One of the many things that have always made this idiotic conspiracy theory even more ridiculous is that I’m not sure, other than Carter, there’s been a president who has spoken more often, willingly, and openly about his faith. I don’t know how anyone could watch Clementa Pinkney’s funeral and come away questioning President Obama’s faith. These people are just liars.

Erick Erickson - What he says is news only to those looking to fill column space.

People like Erickson know full well Obama is sincere in his beliefs. They just leverage their dipshit followers for their clicks and money.

GODWIN ALERT:
Of course, remember who is talking here: Eric Erickson does not thing HITLER did anything wrong either.

True, and I think a not small number of GOPers know it’s bullshit too, but are so consumed with hating all things Obama that they lie and tell pollsters they don’t believe he’s Christian. Coincidentally, lying in order to tar someone you dislike is pretty un-Christian. But this is the GOP where the “true Christians” will do everything in their power to keep the meek from inheriting the earth, hate the poor, sick, and hungry, believe what you do unto the wealthy is what you do unto Christ, and are fixated on an issue that Jesus never thought was important enough to address.

I guess that’s why 'Coat-Hangar Man" has never felt the need to apologize!

Just curious. How do you answer someone’s question when it’s based on an incorrect premise? Don’t you pretty much have to address that elephant in the room? No pun intended.

Horses into burning barns?

You know if all of the GOP who tell lies really had their pants catch on fire, it would make California seem like a poolside barbecue.

Ya know, whenever I look at Erick Erickson, I always imagine him suddenly breaking out into a yawp of “Yabaa dabaa doo!” The “modern stone-age family” indeed

In another RedState article today,Erickson said this:

“Next month’s debate performance could rupture it. There’s still a lot that could change. But right now to me it looks like we are headed toward a Cruz vs. Rubio primary and, given how well the outsiders are doing currently, Cruz has a slight advantage.”

I predict that when the history books are written in 50 years (assuming there is no zombie apocalypse), Obama will be written about as a great president, and the he endured an incredible amount of racism that he dealt with using an unending well of patience, without ever seeking retribution. He just let the haters hate, thereby exposing them for who they really are.
