Its ‘Dear Abby,’ not ‘Dear Fat Boy.’

The idea that Erick Erickson himself acts like a Christian is laughable.

I don’t think Obama gives a fuck, so don’t worry your red face over it.

So be a despicable hypocrite like Erickson and his ilk. Got it.

He also has advice for women on how they can stop being raped. Just STFU.

The most Anti-Christian act a person can commit is to questions the faith of another.

Barack Obama keeps getting accused of being a closet muslim by some people. I actually don’t think that’s true. I think Barack Obama is a secular atheist who only talked God and religion to get people to vote for him.

…

If the President wants to stop being accused of being a muslim, he should either fess up that he isn’t a believer in anything other than himself or start acting like the Christian that he claims to be.

The following comments from six years ago are still relevant.

People are already finding other reasons to say they’re not voting for him. “Well, he’s a Muslim,” "He’s this." So we have already seen the so-called “Bradley factor” in the current–in the current spread between the candidates. And so that remains to be seen. I hope it is not the case. I think we have advanced considerably in this country since the days of Tom Bradley. And I hope that is not the case. It would be very unfortunate if it were the case.

I’m also troubled by, not what Senator McCain says, but what members of the party say. And it is permitted to be said such things as, “Well, you know that Mr. Obama is a Muslim.” Well, the correct answer is, he is not a Muslim, he’s a Christian. He’s always been a Christian. But the really right answer is, what if he is? Is there something wrong with being a Muslim in this country? The answer’s no, that’s not America. Is there something wrong with some seven-year-old Muslim-American kid believing that he or she could be president? Yet, I have heard senior members of my own party drop the suggestion, “He’s a Muslim and he might be associated terrorists.” This is not the way we should be doing it in America.

Ya’ mean Obama should look out for the well-being of his fellow humans, and advocate for peace rather than war??? Nah!!!

So.

This guy thinks that Obama doesn’t act like a Christian.

I guess acting like a Christian is assuming that most everyone is a foreigner and doesn’t belong in this country.

I guess acting like a Christian is creating programs that would increase hunger, particularly among children.

I guess acting like a Christian is bombing the beejeebers out of foreign nationals on their own soil.

I guess acting like a Christian is cheating on your spouse and lying on your taxes.

Thank the Lord, or whomever you believe in, that Obama doesn’t act like a Christian, at least as defined by the Right.

I have almost always liked and agreed with Powell, except for that one time he got mixed up with the Neo-cons and the Bush-Cheney know nothings and helped them talk America into an unnecessary war and perhaps our worst ever foreign policy debacle.

Reminds me of JFK’s words about being a Liberal:

THE DUTIES OF A CHRISTIAN:

To feed the hungry.
To give drink to the thirsty.
To clothe the naked.
To Shelter the Homeless
To visit the sick.
To visit the imprisoned
To bury the dead.

To instruct the ignorant.
To counsel the doubtful.
To admonish sinners.
To bear wrongs patiently.
To forgive offences willingly.
To comfort the afflicted.
To pray for the living and the dead

Sounds a lot more like the President than Mr Erickson

He’s still in ‘love’ with Cheney. Its just that Palin scared him more in regards to consequence.

And cost us a guy who would’ve been an excellent President.

That is, if the know-nothings in his own party hadn’t threatened his wife with extinction if he ran.

‘Act like a Christian’? Hmmmm…like the Duggers? Huckabee? Kim Davis? Erick Erickson himself? No you jerk…you don’t get to redefine Christianity like you have tried to redefine the Founding Fathers intent, what this country ‘believes’, what the Pope ‘should’ do or anything else. You’re just another blowhard with nothing in your quiver…

And by “act like a Christian,” Mr… Erickson means enact a capital gains tax cut and increase the Pentagon budget.

Yo, Err-Dick, any ideas on how you can stop getting accused of being a moron?

Yes, because to these type of Christians, it’s all an act.

If he really believes the pols in the GOP have been acting like "Christians " who would really want to be one?Maybe he and his fellow hypocrites will actually listen to the Pope while he is in America this week instead of deriding the leader of the Christian faith.Don’t count on it though…they are the self proclaimed know it alls that have proven to be embarrassingly stupid on most critical issues.Hopefully the time is coming when a person with no religious affiliations is elected President and this medieval bullshit is finally laid to rest.
